Hey everyone! I'm Bobby Sylvester, host of the FantasyPros Baseball Podcast. Let's have some fun today! I'll answer all of the fantasy baseball questions I can in an hour, of course, but don't hesitate to ask food or anything questions either. I'm here to give advice and entertain you all! Let's do this!

What closer do find on the most of your rosters or mock draft teams?
Bobby Sylvester
1:02
Keona Kela and not even close. Above 80% exposure. #2 is Nick Anderson at just above 45% exposure.
Billy Bob
1:03
Who is the one prospect you want to stash the most entering 2020 redraft leagues?
Bobby Sylvester
1:04
Dylan Carlson---with the DH now likely for all 30 MLB teams, I have a hard time seeing Carlson being left out of the every day lineup. He is a five-tool MLB-ready prospect
Will
1:04
12 team H2H.  #3 pick.  Keeping Bregman, Lindor, Flaherty, and Paddack.  Yelich or Cole?  Thank you.
Bobby Sylvester
1:04
Lindor > Bregman >>> Flaherty > Paddack.....and Yelich >>> Cole

If you could interview anyone, who would you interview and what would you talk about?
Bobby Sylvester
1:06
In baseball? Kevin Cash. In any sport? Mike Leach. Baseball player? Mike Soroka. Any sport player? Gardner Minshew. Any person in the world? Thomas Sowell
Steve
1:07
Are you among the many that feel Fernando Tatis Jr. isn't worth the draft cost?
Bobby Sylvester
1:08
100% among this crowd. He is going in the 2nd round. I wouldn't take him until the 4th once Mondesi, Springer, Kershaw and maybe Machado are off the board. He has some power and plenty of speed, but his BABIP last year led all of baseball (unsustainable BA luck), his HR/FB ratio was insane (unsustainable HR luck) and he is coming off a severe injury. Hard pass for me.

#8 pick. 12 team h2h.  No Keepers.  DeGrom, Lindor. Story, Turner.  Who would you take? Thanks.
Bobby Sylvester
1:10
Well, I'm taking Juan Soto at #8 every single time haha but he isn't an option here so instead I'd take Lindor. It was Story two weeks ago but now it seems likely the Rockies won't play any games in Coors this season.

I realize this would only be a guess, but what exact date do you suspect the MLB regular season will start this year?
Bobby Sylvester
1:12
July 4th is my best guess. I buy into the leak that they may play all games at their spring training facilities and switch up AL and NL to Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues with every team having a DH. I expect about 110 games (like the strike season)
Calvin

What song lyric or movie quote best represents you?
Bobby Sylvester
1:13
"Did we in our own strength confide our striving would be losing, were not the right man on our side, the man of God's own choosing. Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is he."

Please rank the top 3 rookies in order of how well they will do this year.
Bobby Sylvester
1:15
(assuming full season somehow)
Luis Robert (.270/25 HR/25 SB/85 RBI/85 R)
Jesus Luzardo (160 IP, 170 K, 3.40 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 12 W)
Brendan McKay (120 IP, 140 K, 3.40 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 9 W)
John
1:16
Grisham or Hays?
Bobby Sylvester
1:16
I prefer Hays just because he seems more likely to play every day. Both are about the same quality of player, though
Don
1:16
I am in a H2H league in CBS Sports please rank this pitching staff especially since we will have a short season: Yu Darvish, Jack Flaherty, Tyler Glasnow, Sonny Gray, Brandon Woodruff, and James Paxton.
Bobby Sylvester
1:17
Flaherty > Glasnow > Darvish > Paxton > Gray > Woodruff. Nice balanced staff!

What team that did not make the MLB playoffs this year do you feel has the best chance of winning the world series this year and why?
Bobby Sylvester
1:19
Most would say the Phillies but I'm going Indians because their lineup is improved and still anchored by Lindor/Jose Ramirez. They bullpen is now stellar with Hand/Karinchak/Clase and their rotation is darn near unbeatable in the playoffs with Clevinger/Bieber/Carrasco if they make it and all are healthy. Plus the proposed realignment divisions would have them likely to make the playoffs

When Baseball resumes, the White Sox look like they have the talent to dunk on their division for a decade. Can you rank their top players in a Dynasty format? Thx!
Bobby Sylvester
1:27
They do, but not quite yet IMO. Too many questions in the rotation this season to beat the Twins and Indians.

Who is your favorite late round sleeper this year for a 15 team league?
Bobby Sylvester
1:28
Hitter: Dylan Carlson
Pitcher: Rich Hill

Deeeeep Hitter: Isan Diaz
Deeeeep Pitcher: Elieser Hernandez

1:28
Do u think Pearson may or puk will be a Worthy starter this year
Bobby Sylvester
1:28
From the moment they are in the rotation, they should be owned in 100% of leagues. Both are studs from the get-go

Bobby, careerwise, do you foresee being a fantasy analyst (and staying with FPros) for as many years as possible?  Please say "yes" because I'd hate to lose ya!

BIG TIME. This is my dream job and dream company. I pinch myself every day. Love the people I work with, love the creative freedom and wouldn't trade it for anything.
1:30
Before I get to the next question: Like, HOW is this real life? I dreamed about doing this for a living as a kid and the job didn't even exist. Now I, of all the people in the world, get to live it out!? Why me? It's just amazing!

I know this is football, but what are your thoughts on the Odell to Minnesota trade rumors?
