All good, Jimbo! I'm dying to talk about it! The price is too dang low to be real. Maybe the Browns leaked it to drum up interest from the Packers? It would take at least a 1st though--none of this 2nd rounder+ garbage. I don't think the Vikings make a move for a wideout with all of the wideouts available in the draft and two first rounders. if he gets dealt, my money is on the Jets straight up for #11.

Any off the cuff advice you can offer, with a shortened season, universal DH, interleague merger, Florida/Arizona games/leagues? So many variables, not sure I’ve scratched the surface. Let’s not forget robot umps.
Bobby Sylvester
1:39
DH beneficiaries: Ryan Braun, Dylan Carlson, Sam Hilliard, Austin Riley, Nick Senzel, Dominic Smith, Howie Kendricl

Shortened season beneficiaries: Rich Hill, Jesus Luzardo, Lance McCullers, Julio Urias, Brendan McKay

interleague merger/universal DH beneficiaries: Padres hitters.....losers (Rockies hitters)

What is a dream 5 round start for you in a dynasty start up? I have pick #6 in a 12 team league
Bobby Sylvester
1:42
Juan Soto
Luis Robert
Ozzie Albies
Tyler Glasnow
Adalberto Mondesi
Bobby Witt Jr.

Don't leave your draft without Marco Luciano. He is the next uber-prospect.

Is it crazy in the 8th I snag Robert's and the 9th or 10 I grab luzardo almost every draft.
Bobby Sylvester
1:43
Not at all. You win, GOAT
Brad
1:43
Where do you see Mookie Betts going next year?
Bobby Sylvester
1:45
Not sure, but I guarantee the Cardinals finish in 2nd place for his bidding. If I had to guess, the Braves get him. They lose 50 million off the books with Hamels/Ozuna/Melancon and have a young exciting team. Mookie is from Nashville too
Robert
1:45
Hey Bobby.  Would it be unwise to take Buehler over Scherzer?  The idea is that I would rather be a year early on the young ace than possibly a year late on the older machine.
Bobby Sylvester
1:46
I wouldn't fault anyone for doing this, necessarily but I wouldn't do it myself. I'm too worried about the Dodgers' games they play with SP innings.
Chris

12 team h2h points w/ 6 keepers. I have Luzardo. Keep a year early? Other keepers are Glasnow, Vlad, Bichette, Soto, Lindor. Also have Stanton and Hiura.
Bobby Sylvester
1:49
I'd keep Soto, Vlad, Lindor, Hiura, Glasnow and Stanton in that order....Luzardo > Bichette though
Sonny
1:49
Keeper points league. I'm already keeping Cole. For my other pitcher do I keep Verlander, Bieber or Flaherty? Thanks.
Bobby Sylvester
1:49
Whew! I'd go Verlander. Nice start, Sonny
Brad Pitt as Billy Beane

Given the additional time he's had to recover from his shoulder injury, and just how much of an advantage he offers in SBs, are you moving Mondesi up your rankings in a short-season scenario?
Bobby Sylvester
1:50
Great question and the answer is yes. I'd take him as soon as J.D. Martinez, Harper and Strasburg are off the board so as early as 3.1
Robert
1:50
MacKenzie Gore or Michael Kopech this year?
Bobby Sylvester
1:51
Gore is much safer and has more upside. He's my pick. Good luck!
Carlos

Please rank for this year, H2H points league - Urias, Bundy, Cease, Heaney, thanks
Bobby Sylvester
1:51
Bundy, Heaney, Urias, Cease.......Urias is my favorite but not for points since durability is so much more important over there

Thoughts on Nick Senzel and prospect fatigue?
Bobby Sylvester
1:52
You nailed it; he is an excellent value this season because everyone seems to have given up on him after the Reds burned us. He is still great and may even get traded
Kmart

H2H points League, pitcher heavy with the first pick. I have heard when on the bend to reach a bit for the the guys you want instead guys who maybe ranked around the same pick. For my second and 3rd pick I am eying Kershaw and Corbin perhaps and for the 4/5 I am really buying into younger power guys Jimenez and Vlad Jr. Is this a tactic you have heard of and what do you think of these players? Thanks Bobby! Huge Fan!
Bobby Sylvester
1:53
Love that idea. Kershaw is extremely safe and Corbin is stellar in a points league. Then Eloy and Vlad could win you that league.
Mike
1:53
Strasburg or Kershaw? Bieber or Morton? Thanks.
Bobby Sylvester
1:53
Strasburg by a hair. Bieber by a ton
Xfactor
1:54
What are the chances Javier Baez will qualify at 2B, or 3B this season ? ESPN has him as SS only right now.
Bobby Sylvester
1:54
Possible but not likely. I'd put 2B at 20%, 3B at 5%
TJ
1:54
Thoughts on the Giants farm system? Thanks
Bobby Sylvester
1:56
it is much improved from even a year ago. Bart is likely a perennial all-star, I'm a HUGE believer in Luciano (multiple MVP type of guy), Bishop is a quality all around player (think Markakis). Ramos and Corry are a bit overrates IMO but as a whole, this is a solid system. I also love Canario to break out this year
Jordan
1:56
Who is your favorite starting pitcher you would be willing to take josh hader over?
Bobby Sylvester
1:57
Love this question: I'd take James Paxton over him and Paxton's ADP is #139. A few others: D Price, M Bumgarner, J Luzardo
Jim
1:57
In 5 years, who do you think the top 5 pitchers and hitters will be?
Bobby Sylvester

Pitchers:

M Gore
J Urias

Hitters:

Soto
Bellinger
Acuna
W Franco
Trout
Robert

I listened to a recent podcast of yours and you weren't big on Sean Manaea this year.  Any reason why?  He was a league winning SP last September.
Bobby Sylvester
2:01
402 Ks in 493 big league innings. Merrill Kelly and J.A. Happ were even better in September last year but we aren't drooling over them. My wager is that is was a fluke month as we often see in small sample sizes

That's all for today's live chat. Thank you, everyone, for popping in! Looking forward to next time!
