As much as I'd want Kikuchi, I'm not ready to drop either of those guys so soon.
Patrick

Please rate: Rodon, Kikuchi, Means, Matz??

Kikuchi, Means, Matz, Rodon
Acuna Matatas

What is going on with Iglesias? He's had only one decent outing in 4 appearances so far. Paid too much for this kind of performance. Is there reason for concern about performance/job security?
Andrew Gould
2:37
You paid for the job security because he's one of few closers who had a steady job and could keep said job even after two bad outings in early April. I'm not panicking just yet, but pitching four times in six days is a lot.

Anyone in specific you are looking to buy low or sell high on?
Andrew Gould
2:39
I'd be happy to take any form of discount on Marcell Ozuna. I don't know how many people would overpay for Ryan McMahon based on fives games at Coors Field, but that could be an interesting sell-high opportunity.

Is the old JD Martinez back?
Andrew Gould
2:41
I bought back in during a bunch of drafts -- at least the ones where someone beat me to Nelson Cruz -- so I hope so. He at least should be more 2019 JD than 2020 JD.

Is A.J Puk worth holding in a saves + holds league? or is there still a chance of him making the rotation
Andrew Gould
2:43
With Rosenthal out, elevating to the closer role may be Puk's best-case scenario for his fantasy value. Not saying that will happen, but he's definitely intriguing as a reliever in saves+holds leagues. Working 3.1 IP in his first outing seems to suggest they may be stretching him out to eventually join the rotation.

Deep Dynasty league with holds.  Wittgren or Lucas Sims worth stashing?
Andrew Gould
2:43
Both are rosterable in a holds league, preferably Sims
Micah

Which potential impact SPs who don't currently have rotation spots are you most excited about? Deep league and I’m looking at guys like Price, Dobnak, Lindblom, Antone, Whitley, Jefferies, etc.
Andrew Gould
2:45
He hasn't looked too great thus far, but I liked Lindblom in the offseason. It's hard to see Price spending the entire year in the bullpen. Puk and Kopech are also high-upside young pitchers.

What are your thoughts on Verdugo?
Andrew Gould
2:46
The contact skills he showed in 2019/2020 were too stable to stay this cold for long. He should find his way eventually.

early thoughts on chris paddack?
Andrew Gould

The first start wasn't great, but nothing there that has me panicking.

Will Diekman hold on to the closer gig in Oakland if Rosenthal's injury turns out to be more serious than thought? Or does Wendelken or Romo steal the job?
Andrew Gould
2:50
He'd probably be one or two more bad outings away from losing the role, but it's hard to say since Oakland hasn't won a game yet. Lou Trivino may actually be my top candidate to take the job from Diekman.
Josh

Joe Adell worth a stash? 14 team  H2H CAT Keeper league.
Andrew Gould
2:52
All depends on your settings. If you got a bench spot to play with, he certainly seems worth it in a keeper league. That's assuming there's enough spots where you may keep him (as opposed to just like three keepable players). I'm not expecting anything from him too soon though.

What your take on Dane Dunning?
Andrew Gould
2:54
I was in on him to start the offseason and then gradually cooled off. He pretty much went entirely to his sinker in his first start, and it worked. That park could at least make him a strong matchup play.

Which of the advanced stats is the first to normalize?
Andrew Gould
2:57
Off the top of my head, I recall research pointing to strikeouts and walks normalizing first. But even those would take a lot more than a week. (I believe around 150 PAs.)

ROS:  Baez or Suarez
Andrew Gould
2:59
I had them ranked in a similar tier coming into this season, so depends on whether you need Baez's speed or Suarez's power ceiling more. Would probably take Baez in a vacuum given the scarcity of stolen bases.

What's your take on Austin Riley for the season?
Andrew Gould
3:00
Cheap power that will come at the cost of batting average. Even in a more sample size, it was encouraging to see him cut his K rate in 2020.
3:01
OK everyone, that's all for me today. You can find me at @AndrewGould4 on Twitter if I didn't get to your questions. Thanks for taking the time to chat, and I hope this is the start of a great season for you all!
