It's really, really hard for me to buy into a player when he SO randomly has a massive breakout that no one saw coming. So, it's not as if I'm targeting him or, frankly, have even drafted him anywhere. But, he is slated to bat leadoff so in deeper and AL-only leagues, he should have an impact. But, personally, not a huge buyer.

Do you like Mackenzie Gore more or less under proposed plan? Impact year ala Paddack or just a cup of joe while spending most of season on taxi squad?

This is something where we just honestly don't know the impact of the new proposal. What do "expanded rosters of 45-50" mean? Either way, I do think the Pads want to continue his development and, without a minor-league season, you'd assume they'd want him to get regular work in the majors. But, being as honest as possible, I'm just not sure whether the delay makes it more less likely that he'll make an impact this year.
