Good enough for me with the big two plus Gallen.

I’ve made a few trades in recent weeks in a dynasty league where I’m rebuilding. Thoughts on this offer I got recently - Give up sixto ans get Waters? I really like Sixtos profile with 2 plus pitches and control. Appreciate the help
Dan Harris
3:19
I like Sixto a ton but have Waters much higher in my dynasty rankings so strongly prefer him.
JC
3:20
is Chris Sale worth drafting?
Dan Harris
3:21
At some point, sure. But I'm approaching as if it's better than 50/50 that he misses the whole year.

3:21
Thoughts on guys nursing injuries right now and their value change with a postponed season? ie. Aaron Judge, Justin Verlander, James Paxton?
Dan Harris
3:22
Guys like Judge and Sale, I'm very cautious with because they could conceivably miss the entire season still. Verlander, Paxton, et al. are huge risers, going back to pretty much their pre-postponement value (Verlander down a bit because of the surgery, but still)

I am in a Dynasty League and my keepers are Bieber (9th round), Rizzo (16th round), Bryant (20th), Morton (23rd), Acuna (24th) and Soler (25th). I have the 5th pick in a snake draft and we score on OBP and S+H in Roto. Which draft strategy would be best for my situation?
Dan Harris
3:24
Hm, you're probably thinking of Bobby's particular draft strategies and, to be honest, that's just not my game. Bobby's brilliant and makes those work. I'm way more conservative. You've got an incredible base. Just play jazz.

Could Ohtani be the most valuable points player now that he will be fully healthy for the start of the delayed season?
Dan Harris
3:25
Depends on whether you can swap him back and forth daily between SP and hitter. If you can, he's an outstanding asset but not the most valuable player I don't think. He'll start once a week as a pitcher, three times a week as a hitter. Combined he should be a top player. But not THE top player.

Since Colorado isn't playing to win this year, why not give Hilliard a chance?   That would certainly be better long time than running out an older guy
Dan Harris
3:25
I wouldn't say they're not playing to win, but I agree. We know what Ian Desmond can (and can't) do. Would love to see Hilliard get his shot and own him everywhere.
Justin
3:26
Should 2nd base be targeted earlier this year in drafts, due to the lack of depth?
Dan Harris
3:27
Position scarcity is a factor, but it should be baked into your rankings. I'm not going out of my way to target the position. Just use tiers - make sure you know where you stand there when making your choice. Don't go out of your way to push up second basemen
Shawn

Rank them in a 16 team keeper (keep 18 players so basically a dynasty):  Altuve, Albies, Muncy, Marte?
Dan Harris
3:27
Albies-Altuve-Marte-Muncy

Great idea Fantasy Pros!  Love the concept of a live chat so we can engage with y’all and however briefly keep our heads out of the World
Dan Harris
3:28
Well thanks a bunch, Grabbler Math! We plan to keep these going (NFL one tomorrow!) if you guys like them so hopefully you come back!

Jose Ramirez v Nolan Arenado in a keeper league with no contract value?
Dan Harris
3:29
It's really close.I slightly favor Ramirez just because of Arenado likely heading out of Colorado at some point. But no issue either way.

Luis Robert, Michael Kopech, Nick Madrigal vs ADP?
Dan Harris
3:29
Assume you mean which one do I have highest against ADP - none of them crazy, but Kopech.
Alex
3:29
Loved your show last year, Dan.  It helped me get Yordan Alvarez at the right time?  I'm seeing a pretty weak position at 1B, especially in my league with Freemen being kept by another team.  Should I be going hard after Bellinger with prices near Acuna/Yelich?  We also include OPS as a category so I think he could be a huge contributor across the board.
Dan Harris
3:31
With keepers, inflation matters, so it's certainly possible that Bellinger could be worth as much as Acuna and Yelich. But it would probably need to be several other top first basemen kept. I'd probably just keep Bellinger about where he is (top 4) but prefer the other two
Mini Dan
3:31
Who has the better season: Alex Verdugo, Cavan Biggio, or Brian Anderson? Also, exactly how tall are you?
Dan Harris
3:32
Hm, I do have a mini-me. He knows who he is! Biggio for me. I'm mostly hoping he gets a little less passive, but I'm kinda buying all the Blue Jays. And 6'5!

3:32
Rangers and other park change influences?
Dan Harris
3:33
Really not sure how to evaluate the Rangers' new park yet. We need to see it in action. Other than that: https://www.fantasypros.com/2020/02/notable-team-changes-2020-fantasy-...

Thoughts on Luis Castillo, Mike Soroka, Mike Clevinger this year? Those three plus Buehler  round out my Top 4 this year in a QS, K/BB league. Thanks
Dan Harris
3:35
Excellent with regression, Kyle Hendricks with upside, and one of my faves! It's a great staff with Buehler.

2020 Champions?
Dan Harris
3:35
I have to go chalk and say Dodgers.
Jim
3:35
Where, in terms of DP, do you see Tatis Jr coming in?  Thanks
Dan Harris
3:36
I have him ranked 23rd, so around there. Look, I get all the expected stats suggest regression, and that's fine. But he's so young and offers rare power and speed. I'm fine buying him at full price.

Real depth question here... i need to cut one of the following in my 4x4 Ottoneu league: Eflin, Zach Davies, or Treinen... this is not an Earth shattering move but I feel like Davies could do well with the Pads...
Dan Harris
3:37
Yup, I hear you. I'd probably cut Davies but I'd be fine with Treinen.

What do think the resumption of spring training will look like? 2 or 3 weeks and than regular season or longer training period.  Will SP be ready to fire 5+ innings?
Dan Harris
3:39
I don't expect 2-3 weeks of spring, honestly. MLB has to try to maximize its time. They'll allow teams to start working out together after being tested and confirmed no cases, and then when they're good to go, they're pretty much good to go. Teams will try to have simulated games but it's fair to expect a few shorter starts at the outset.

In 2016, I lucked out and got Brewers teammates Jonathan Villar and Chris Carter with late picks.  Between the two of them that season, they hit 60 home runs and stole 65 bases . . . so basically, I lucked into two 30-30 players late.  What are some later round player pairings this season that might have similar potential to combine for great power-speed numbers?
