I'd hold. His value has never been lower.
1:37
Perceived value, that is.

I have always wanted to write about fantasy football, and just recently gave it a shot. What would you recommend as best steps toward improving and eventually breaking into the field?
Mike Tagliere
1:38
Honestly, ask yourself as a fantasy player: What do I want to know? That's what I did and then started researching those things. Just get your name out there, jump on podcasts, and don't pass on opportunity (too many do this). The only way to become a better writer is to simply write more and more. I go back and read my first few years of articles and I'm shocked at how bad they were. It'll come with time, but it's nothing that'll be overnight.

Looking to shop Aaron Jones in my 10team 0.5ppr 2QB dynasty league. What should I be looking for in return? I already have 2 2021 1st round picks
Mike Tagliere
1:39
This is a great time to capitalize on his value. I would be looking to get a top-three pick in this year's draft. Not a fan of trading for too many future picks, as you don't know where those picks will be.

In SF, I have 1.2 in the rookie draft. Think trading down to 1.4. Is asking for the 2.3 too much? Thanks for taking the time.
Mike Tagliere

I'd want more than just the 2.03 to move down to 1.04.

12 team dynasty league with rookie draft each year (3 rounds). Would you give up JuJu Smith-Schuster for 2020 2.12, 3.06, 2 2021 second round picks and 2022 first round pick? Thanks!
Mike Tagliere
1:41
That's a lot of picks, but close... I just acquired JuJu in one of my leagues for the 1.08 pick this year and my 2nd round next year, so you may be paying more than necessary.

What value do you see in Austin Ekeler in a Dynasty League? As an owner should he be traded now or held?
Mike Tagliere
1:42
I would be selling high right now. Don't wait, as the Chargers could add a running back in the draft and hurt his value. His contract wasn't workhorse money.

Are the OJ Howard trade rumors legit?
Mike Tagliere
1:43
I don't believe they are, no. He is ideal for Brady at this stage of his career. There were multiple teams (including the Patriots) who were trying to trade for him last year and the Bucs said "no." Why would that change now that they're in it to win it?

I have the 1.04, 1.09, 2.02, and 2.04 in my dynasty 2QB league with a significant need at RB. How should I approach finding my RB since Taylor and swift will more than likely be gone by pick 4?
Mike Tagliere
1:44
I doubt they'll both be gone by 1.04. If they are, take Jeudy, then hope to land someone like CEH/Dobbins at 1.09.

I've never done a dynasty league before and am in the process of getting one together for after the NFL draft. In a PPR start up dynasty with 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2FLX, 1K, 1DEF how many rounds should the start up draft have?
Mike Tagliere
1:45
I'm a fan of deeper leagues, as I think it rewards those who are the most prepared. Because of that, all my leagues have at least 30 man rosters. Ideally, 32-35 man rosters.

How would you adjust your fantasy draft if the season was abbreviated ?
Mike Tagliere
1:46
I wouldn't change much, honestly. May ask the league to go to overall points instead of head to head, as a shortened season could lead to bad luck with matchups.

What is your strategy for dynasty rookie drafts. Best player or team need?
Mike Tagliere
1:46
Best player, most of the time. If you're torn (or have players close), go with team need, but I wouldn't pass on Jerry Jeudy just because I might have a need at RB.

Mike! What is your values on Chubb in dynasty? How much does Hunt matter? Is he a sell high? Hold? Thanks for all of the work guys!!
Mike Tagliere
1:47
I lowered his value once I found out that the Browns were retaining Hunt. I still believe he should be valued as a top-six RB in dynasty but he's not part of the elite group.

I have always wanted to write about fantasy football. I just recently gave it a shot and completed my first piece. What would you be your advice for continued improvement and steps to set myself up to eventually break into the field?
Mike Tagliere
1:49
Always say yes to opportunities, even if they seem small. If you write for a small website, 10 people may read that article. That's 10 people you have now that you didn't before. Think about a virus. Infect as many people as possible with your fantasy advice because it has a branch-out effect. You never know who might be listening and what it may lead to.

I'm in a 12 team dynasty. This is our first year and for some reason we have already drafted (including rookies). I took D'Andre Swift at the 1.08 and Mims on the way back, just missing out of Jefferson and DPJ, taken the 2 picks before me. Is it worth trying to acquire them, I am very high on both compared to Mims but not sure what I should be offering if I do go after them
Mike Tagliere
1:50
With the buzz surrounding Mims, you may want to move him now. I love DPJ, though we need him to go inside the top three rounds. Love Jefferson and he will go early. Can you send a future 2nd and Mims for Jefferson?

I have pick 1.01 and 1.09 in a 10 team dynasty league this year. Should I use those picks to draft one of the stud RB’s at 1.01 and WR at 1.09? Or should I trade for Cook or Henry? Current RB’s on my roster are D.montgomery, Fournette, Howard, Malcom Brown, Naheim Hines, and Duke Johnson.
Mike Tagliere
1:51
I'd give the 1.01 for Cook, though they'd probably want more. Wait to see landing spots before you decide on anything, though.

Hey Mike, I really enjoyed the article you posted yesterday about wether WR or RB are a safer pick at the top of drafts, as with all of your insights. It really reinforced my faith in Mark Ingram to see he has posted 2 top 6 finishes and 4 top 12 finishes in the last 5 years. I still feel like he can produce for a couple more seasons. What are your thoughts on Ingram in Dynasty .5 ppr. Thanks as always, and Korn Rocks!
Mike Tagliere
1:53
The injury at the end of the year may have the Ravens looking to cut back his workload a bit more and honestly, Lamar should've scored more rushing touchdowns than he did, so there will be some regression for Ingram's TD total. He should still offer low-end RB2 value for one more year, though. Yes, Korn still definitely rock.

A Brit here, being a novice at fantasy football, what is the one tip you would give me when entering the draft? Also, why do you choose a QB in round 7 and not Round 1? Cheers...
Mike Tagliere
1:55
Because you only have to start one of them. Easiest way for me to put it... Lamar Jackson scores 400 points. CMC scores 375 points. Those are the first rounders. Yes Jackson is higher, but if you get Dak in the 7th round, he scores 300 points. The best running back available in the 7th scores just 150 points. CMC and Prescott outscore Lamar and the 7th round RB.
