David Johnson PPR rank 23rd RB, i.e low end of 4th tier backs. Presuming the 28 y.o. (29 by Dec) passes a physical and noting his fall from grace was due to wrist injury and Cardinal's struggles...do you sense significant upside and good value?
Kyle Yates
1:02
It’s hard to look at David Johnson’s fall from grace over the past couple seasons and say that there’s upside for 2020 and beyond. The thing that we know is that Houston loves to run the ball and finished in the Top-12 in total rushing attempts last season with Carlos Hyde. David Johnson’s going to see work on the ground, but it’s hard to envision him rushing for more than 4 YPC with what we’ve seen previously. I currently have him projected for 210 carries for 735 yards and 5 TDs. With 38-356-2 through the air.

What are your WRs potential breakout for this next season ?
Kyle Yates
1:04
Ones that I’m watching are currently Anthony Miller, Breshad Perriman, and Courtland Sutton. They all have different ceilings, but they’re going to be given incredible opportunities in their respective offenses. Sutton could potentially finish in the Top-10 WRs this season…

I have 4 decent RB options in Le'Veon Bell, Chris Carson, Mark Ingram & James Conner, but would like to upgrade. I have Mike Evans, Odell Beckham Jr. and Amari Cooper at WR and the 1.08 in the draft. What sort of package would you put together to acquire the 1.02 & Joe Mixon? 10-team, .5 PPR, dynasty league. Thanks
Kyle Yates
1:05
Asking price differs from league to league. The Joe Mixon owner in one league could understand how much of a jump he could take this next season and value him very highly. Another owner in a different league may have no idea and may be willing to let him go for much less. When I’m attempting to trade in my Dynasty leagues, I send a message/text to the owner and ask what their opinions/values are on two different players. This doesn’t tip off which player I really like and want to acquire, but simply starts the conversation. From there, you can figure out their temperature on some of your players and begin working towards a deal that’s beneficial for both sides. That may not be super helpful for your specific situation, but it’s too difficult to give a specific answer because I’m not in your league. Instead, try that strategy and see what it leads to and whether or not you’re comfortable with the asking price.

Three keeper, 10-team, 1/2 PPR: Who should I keep? Mixon, Kelce, Gurley, Drake, Amari
Kyle Yates
1:07
If you are not factoring in any sort of draft round compensation for these players, I'd be looking to keep Mixon, Kelce, and Drake. These three players are walking into great situations next season and don't come with the question marks that Gurley (knee injury and changing teams) and Amari Cooper (inconsistency week-to-week) do for 2020.

Keeper league question. Keep 1: Mark Andrews in the 11th round or Darren Waller in the 14th round?
Kyle Yates
1:08
Great question! Both are very solid options, but Mark Andrews is an ascending talent at the TE position and the Ravens just shipped off his biggest competition for targets at the position. Hayden Hurst is now in Atlanta and Andrews is going to see all the targets he can handle in 2020. He's worth the slightly higher price.

How do you value Seattle WRs? Will Metcalf surpass Lockett as the top WR in town? Do you expect either of them to put up WR1 numbers in 2020?
Kyle Yates
1:10
Metcalf's a phenomenal talent and we slept on him too much in 2019. Lockett was incredibly inconsistent this past season and the Seahawks really don't have much else at the position to make me think that Metcalf won't return value again in 2020. I don't see Metcalf getting up to a WR1 finish though just purely based on the offense he plays in and how much they run the ball. He'd have to make it up in TDs, which is much harder to predict.

Who is this year's DeVante Parker?  Perpetually hyped WR than finally breaks through: Corey Davis?, Mike Williams? Sammy Watkins? Other?
Kyle Yates
1:12
I don't have a definitive answer to this question, honestly. However, there's one player that I've been a fan of since he entered the league and that's Dede Westbrook (WR - Jacksonville). The Jags offense was so out of sync last season with the QB rotation and another season with Gardner Minshew should only help that chemistry. While I'm not projecting a WR1 finish by any means, Westbrook should return value for where his ADP is at currently...

If Tua goes to the Chargers does that warrant taking him ahead of Joe Burrow? Thanks fellas.
Kyle Yates
1:15
Great question. No, I still believe that Burrow would be the QB worth drafting. Burrow's walking into a great situation with a bonafide WR1 in AJ Green, a speedster in John Ross, a great slot receiver in Tyler Boyd, and a stud RB in Joe Mixon. It's actually one of the better offensive skill groupings in the entire league, in my opinion. The Chargers currently have Keenan Allen and Mike Williams as their WRs and then Jason Moore as their WR3...who? Hunter Henry is there, of course, but they also don't have a solidified option to carry the load at RB either. Austin Ekeler isn't the back that you want to give 220+ carries to, so they still need to address that position. Burrow and Tua are fairly equal from a talent perspective, but Burrow's walking into the better situation if he goes 1.01 to Cincy.

Which top scoring fantasy players from last season do you think could disappoint or bust this season?
Kyle Yates
1:18
I'll give one from each position...

QB: Dak Prescott. Prescott finished as the QB2 in 2019, but that was on the back of 597 passing attempts. I highly doubt they repeat that amount in 2020, which lowers his overall ceiling.

RB: Derrick Henry. Henry's a workhorse, but it's going to be hard to see him repeat the performance he had in 2019.

WR: Julian Edelman. Edelman finished as the WR13 last season, but that was on the back of Brady throwing the ball 613 times. He's getting a downgrade in QB and that 613 number will come down drastically.

TE: Jared Cook. Cook finished as the TE6 on the back of TDs and those are incredibly difficult to project forward. With Sanders now in town and potentially a high draft pick at WR, it's hard to see Cook finishing that highly again.

Hey Kyle, just wanted to say massive thank you to the great work, you, Mike and Bobby do with the podcasts man. It is greatly appreciated by us all and you men bring a lot of joy in tough times. Who are your first 7-8 players off the board in PPR right now in order?
Kyle Yates

Thank you so much! We're happy to be an outlet and distraction for people during this crazy time. Great question!

CMC
Saquon
Thomas

Those are currently my Top-8 in rankings.

Hey Kyle, what late round running backs could steal the starter’s job this season and produce RB1, RB2 type production. Justice Hill a chance with Ravens maybe?
Kyle Yates
1:23
Justice Hill wasn't drafted to be the guy that takes 200+ carries for a team. He's meant to be the "spark plug" and change of pace back, so it's very hard to see him getting to that point. Otherwise, KC just signed Deandre Washington. While he's not a top-tier option, that RB room in KC is essentially Damien Williams (who isn't exactly always healthy) and then a bunch of question marks. Washington has as good of a chance, currently, to be that type of play you're asking about as anyone in the NFL. This question will have some more definitive answers though after the NFL Draft and once we know landing spots for the incoming RBs.

What WR are you picking to be this season’s Chris Godwin and be a breakout star with WR1 numbers?
Kyle Yates
1:24
I'm gonna go with Courtland Sutton. There's a lot riding on Drew Lock, but he showed me enough last year to have optimism. Sutton's a great talent and I think he can shoot up into that WR1 range this season if everything goes right.

Keeper question, 12 team, full ppr, I have first pick in draft, my keeper is Barkley, who would be some good targets to go after? Do not know who the other teams are keeping that is top secret! Thanks for all your help during the year!!!!
Kyle Yates
1:25
This is very difficult to answer without knowing the other players who will be off the board. My recommendation would be to stay tuned to my rankings and simply cross off the players that are kept and take the best remaining! Those will be posted occasionally on Twitter: @KyleYNFL.

I have a good problem to have but struggling with what to do. Dynasty league with 4 keepers who would you keep, Lamar was huge for me last year but he is a QB although he produces as much on the ground as a top 5 RB Lamar,Zeke,Kamara,A.Jones,Hopkins ,Devante Adams,Godwin,Kittle, appreciate your time
Kyle Yates
1:27
Lamar's certainly a different animal at the QB position. I'd be looking to keep him, personally. If you don't have to factor in draft compensation or anything like that, it'd be very tough to let him walk away from your roster. Otherwise, Chris Godwin, Zeke and Kittle would be my choices. Zeke is simply going to see too much work and that's hard to let walk away. Set yourself up well at each position though and walk away with one each of a QB, WR, RB, and TE.

Five years from now, who do you think will be the best fantasy football wide receiver from this draft class?
Kyle Yates
1:28
Love this question. I have to stick to my talent evaluation at this point since we don't know their landing spots and what type of offense their in, who their QB is, etc...the clear answer for me is Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy's the top WR in my rankings and I think he's going to be a stud.

1:28
Who are you most targeting in your dynasty leagues?
Kyle Yates
1:30
If this is in Dynasty leagues via trade, versus a Dynasty rookie draft, I'm actually targeting Anthony Miller heavily. I don't think you have to give up a ton for him and I think he can take a step forward as this offense takes a step forward with Nick Foles at QB. People don't like the offense and are choosing to doubt Miller's talent. I'm getting him fairly cheap in some places.
Tad
1:30
Which player(s) do you want to currently own zero shares of in dynasty leagues?
Kyle Yates
1:32
I think the answer is Leonard Fournette. While he saw 100 targets last season, he was woefully inefficient. He only had 3 TDs on the ground last season and he simply hasn't shown me enough to live up to the billing of this top-tier RB he was expected to be coming out of LSU. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Jags decided to start over in this draft and take someone like D'Andre Swift or Jonathan Taylor. I'm not projecting it, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Kevin
1:32
Five years from now, who do you think will be the best fantasy football running back from this draft class?
Kyle Yates
1:33
In 5 years? D'Andre Swift. I think his pass catching chops are going to be what separates him from the other guys in this class not named Jonathan Taylor. My only concern with Taylor in 5 years is whether or not we're going to start to see a dip in production from him as the carry totals start to pile up.

1:33
who is your Rookie RB1? Regardless of landing spot (even though landing spot is almost everything)
Kyle Yates
1:33
I have Jonathan Taylor slightly edging out D'Andre Swift. They're both in the same tier for me, so if you wanted to flip them, I wouldn't be upset about it at all.

Hi I’m a jets fan and personally I think they should take a tackle in the first round, preferably Andrew Thomas. If that means move up to get one of the top four, then I think they should do that. I think taking a wide receiver in the first holds much less value than a tackle as you can get a much better 2nd round receiver than a 2nd round tackle. Also I don’t think taking ceedee lamb on any team without a number one receiver already on the roster is a bad idea, he needs to play behind someone as a wr2 first, then make that transition, that’s why I think jets go tackle.
