Once again I know you got this question a lot but will my team still be effective if I have 2+ players in my starting lineup that are on the same team. I heard countless times that it lowers your weekly floor every week. Just want to know if it's worth it to say have Haydn Hurst, Ridley, and Jones on the same team?
Mike Tagliere

Three players is tough, as it caps your upside. In best-ball leagues, it's not good. In redraft, it's not as bad. If you're doing that, you better make sure it's a high volume offense. The Falcons are. They've finished top-8 in pass attempts each of Dirk Koetter's four years as OC.

Hey Mike - these live sessions are great - please keep them as part of your offseason rhythm!  1/2 PPR Keeper - Who do you think has more upside this year Godwin or Taylor.  Currently have Mixon, Chubb, Adams to start and I'm in win-now mode.  Enjoy the pod and keep up the good work...P.S. I hope you're right on Mixon this year being great like you were right on him last year being...well...Bengals.
Mike Tagliere

More upside this year? Gotta be Godwin. While I like Taylor more than most, we can't pretend that Mack and Hines won't get some of the work.

Hey there! Where would be your recommended start to a draft (in order of preference) in a Superflex between these players (D. Henry, D. Adams, J. Mixon, J. Jacobs, N. Chubb) Thanks!
Mike Tagliere
1:37
If this is a half-PPR, my order is Mixon, Adams, Henry, Chubb, Jacobs. I'd have Drake near Adams/Henry FWIW.

Is Courtland Sutton a sell in dynasty? Can he be a WR1 in a run-focused offense with a ton of other passing weapons?
Mike Tagliere
1:38
Depending on what you can get for him, sure. I like him as a player, but the future is unknown. Jeudy is a legit stud, so they'll compete for targets. If you can get top-15 value for him, I'd sell, but I'm also not willing to sell at much of a discount.

Could Jonnu Smith outscore Darren Waller this season?  Thinking about trading Waller for Jonnu plus a 2nd round rookie pick.
Mike Tagliere
1:40
I don't see it happening in a low volume offense, though Yates may disagree with me. He loves Smith. I also don't value 2nd round picks very highly, unless it's a high second round pick. If it's a top-15 overall pick, I suppose I'd make that deal.

Hey Tags, I've been pretty excited for Calvin Ridley's upside for the year, but was shocked when I discovered his average YAC was only 2.2 yards in 2019. I understand it was only one season, but that number seems way too low for a guy some project to be this year's Godwin. Thoughts?
Mike Tagliere
1:42
Hey Nate. In my opinion, YAC is one of the most useless stats for WRs. Seriously, when you see DeAndre Hopkins with one of the lowest marks in a few seasons, you know it's an overrated stat. Ridley has also had a high touchdown percentage in the red zone, which contributes nothing after the catch. Wouldn't shock me to see him average 5.0 YAC this year, as it's just not a sticky stat outside of slot receivers.

Hi Mike, hope all is well. .5 PPR dynasty, I’m a rebuilding team (I finished last so I got the 1.01). Had Michael Thomas and Davante Adams with no shot to win next season so shopped Adams and ended up trading him for McLaurin and the 1.04 to one of the favorites. Fair deal for both sides or would you have held out for more? I love Adams but am slightly concerned what that offense looks like in 2-3 years once Love takes over
Mike Tagliere
1:44
Yeah, it's tough for me to lose Adams, who's my No. 2 dynasty receiver. I never project outside of the next 2-3 years in dynasty, so that's why Adams is there. I like McLaurin and you can get Jeudy with the 1.04 most of the time, so I'm not too upset. It was a relatively equal trade, though he got the more proven player.

Could Josh Oliver be a breakout candidate in the Jags' pass-heavy offense in 2020, considering how Gruden likes to use TEs and that Eifert is old and made of glass?  Also, are Kahale Warring (HOU) or Dan Arnold (ARI) potential breakout candidates at TE?
Mike Tagliere
1:45
It'll essentially be his rookie season, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Eifert is made of glass, but he's the starter out of the gate. I don't like those others, but would rather shoot for someone like Jace Sternberger or Blake Jarwin in the TE2 range.

Will Martavis Bryant find a landing spot, and, if so, will he be useful for fantasy?
Mike Tagliere
1:46
Hope so, the kid is extremely talented. I've heard the Packers can use a WR. It'll be tough for him to make a consistent impact in fantasy on a new team, however.

Which handcuff is more valuable in dynasty jamaal Williams or Justin jackson?
Mike Tagliere
1:46
Both might be the third string running back... so none of the above?
Harry

Tags love all that you do for the fantasy community. I play in a two keeper league. I'm only keeping Alvin Kamara. Is it insane to invest my late second round pick on Clyde Edwards Helaire? I'm playing for this year but have my eye on future years. Thanks!
Mike Tagliere
1:47
Not crazy at all. I envision CEH as a first-round pick in redraft formats for years to come, even if he's not going to be there this year. Thanks for the kind words, Harry!

How should I target QB in a Superflex Dynasty 1/2 PPR League.
Mike Tagliere
1:48
Go with the flow of the draft. I never want to start the trend of taking a quarterback, but I also don't want to be at the end of the trend, either. Every superflex draft is different.

Is it a bad idea if I target David Montgomery, David Johnson, or Mark Ingram to be m RB 2 in Redraft leagues?
Mike Tagliere
1:49
Montgomery may not win you a title, but he's a fine RB2 if you want to go WR heavy early on. DJ is a bit of a risk, but might pay off. Ingram is more of a RB3 who may split 50/50 with Dobbins.

Hey Mike, how are you feeling about Lynn Bowden? Do you see a potential Chubb/Hunt-style backfield in LV?
Mike Tagliere
1:50
No... I like Jacobs a ton, but they don't know how to use him, which tells me they may not know how to use Bowden.

Do you know if a player out with COVID-19 would show up as "out" and then be eligible for a fantasy IR spot?  If so, should league managers consider adding additional IR spot(s) to the roster this year to help teams out through the pandemic?  It would seem unfair if a team's top picks got the disease and they had to drop them just to fill a roster...
Mike Tagliere
1:50
That's a great question, but they would not put him on IR, so you couldn't use the IR spot. It's going to be a good year to add roster spots for your league. Maybe instead of the standard 16, we move to 20.

Thoughts on Anthony McFarland as a later round flyer?
Mike Tagliere
1:53
I envision him as a Chris Thompson-type with a bit more tackle-breaking potential, but the Steelers are going to ride Conner if healthy. He's not a bad one, though.

Full ppr 14 team league...of these 4 backs please ranks them...Aaron Jones, Ekeler, Chubb and Sanders

Jones, Sanders, Chubb, Ekeler

Thoughts on DJ Moore??
Mike Tagliere

A LOT of mouths to feed in Carolina. Worry he actually sees fewer targets in 2020 with the addition of Robby Anderson. That defense will have a hard time getting off the field. He's a fine WR2 to have, but I wouldnt expect WR1 production this year.

Hi Mike. Sam Darnold vs Daniel Jones, who does best fantasy-wise this year, who does best fantasy-wise over their career as a whole?
Mike Tagliere
1:55
Daniel Jones in fantasy, no doubt. I like Darnold more as a quarterback, but don't think he'll be a fantasy stud, so I guess I'll take what I project to be the shorter career in Jones.

Mike Tagliere

Yes, I would for sure.
