I was at a rare Quitely signing in SF about 10 years ago. He had 3 portfolios of art with him. I didn't get a single thing. Dumbass!

He may or may not know, but it was good timing for Cristian. That's not a piece Nick would ever sell...except that he had just had a baby who had some medical issues. I think most of use would do the same!

Plus, Cristian doesn't waste anyone's time, he makes aggressive offers!

Hey all. Felix, like your dumbass story. I keep those kinda pieces in my 'shadow collection'. Not the stuff that was unobtainable, but the stuff I really was on the spot for and missed by hesitating or whatever. It's not a collection I enjoy visiting!

Pitarra’s sort of been my unofficial Frank Quitely mentor. I reached out to him before i had purchased any Quitely art, and he then gave me a call and we got to talking about Quitely art, and thats when he turned me to the ASSman page. Since then, weve kept in contact. And eventually he just reached out to me about it. Dont want to share specifics, but i made him an offer and he agreed and thats it. Of course, if i ever decode to part with it, he gets first go at it!

As a group, we are not doing as many shows this year. Just happened to work out that way with everyone's schedules. However, we will be at NYCC. I probably won't be there myself (I'm mostly retired from attending shows), but my boys Yams and Lambert will be there as usual to take care of everyone. Make sure you stop by and say hi!
