@Felix Thanks! @Reba That’s a really good point and reason to erase. I believe when collectors say they don’t erase it’s because the price is written on the back and on vintage art. Prices on “modern” art on the front is a different beast me thinks. For the record I don’t erase.

I caught up on Southern Bastards myself recently.  Agreed, great read.  I'm on a Simon Hanselmann kick of late...Bad Gateway (one of Rob Salkowitz's top 10 books to gift this year) was excellent.  Thanks for the recs - will jot down the titles and check them out

I didn't even see the Silver Surfer #4 art come up for sale (even the complete issue).  Not that I would have bought it (out of my price range at present).

@Jason K  It's a ridiculous amount of quality material hitting the market, but, the way the market has absorbed supply over the past couple/few years so well, I'm not betting that it's going to be any different this time.  Especially not with stocks at all-time highs and interest rates at all-time lows globally.  Seeing all kinds of absurd collectibles prices being realized of late (especially in the card market) that I'm expecting overall strong action, though, the sheer volume probably means that some stuff will fall thru the cracks (as has happened in the past few  auction cycles as well)

@Gene...have heard from two VERY credible sources that there are two MAJOR Hollywood players who have been on a spree the last couple of years. One of them has been giving PIH, especially, a lot of business.
