As for primarily digital artist like Nick Dragotta & Fiona Staples, I greatly cherish their remarks in hardcovers I own—far more than many other pieces I have.

@Felix - Will do, but if they apply that to the movies, that seems lame.  If they somehow applied it to comics, might be fun.  I've been watching videos about those trading cards and the 90s Marvel Universe cards were out of control for a while.  Have since pulled back.  The guy I watch has been wading in to comics and has been hypothesizing that trading card money could head for slabs next.  Meanwhile, I've got one more box of Peach Momoko Marvel Anime cards to break open.

@Dan T...yes, I've heard that a lot. That comic slabs are undervalued relative to all the other insanity that's been going on. AF 15 cited as most potential to go "Mantle".

The theory was that trading card guys look at high grade populations in the thousands across multiple brands, so CGC9.8s with high populations will look attractive relative to cards, as money needs to flow somewhere.  He cited NM#98 as his recent purchase example.
