@Matthew  I recently read the wonderful IDW reprints of the complete Alec Sinner comics, which was a treat, but that's old stuff.  Trees is good for my taste.  I enjoyed the recent miniseries Black Badge.

@Matthew Birdoff I have enjoyed the first three issues of Protector by Trakhanov and Bensen/Roy. Generally spending a bit more time catching up on well-regarded works that one way or another slipped under my radar over the year or have just been sitting on my shelves collecting dust. Finally read the compendium of Invincible and man that's fun book.

@felix I'm halfway through the currently available Mort Cinder hardcover.  The stories are so-so for me, but the visual style and storytelling are wonderful for my taste, and I think are considered groundbreaking in their day by the cognoscenti.
