Felix, you have been in my thoughts a ton over the past week. I  hope the current pandemic will ease to the point where we can have real comic shows again soon and I'll be glad to see you and your crew somewhere on the east coast when that happens to give you my condolences in person. In other news, I  Love my new Tradd Moore page-thanks for putting up those "vintage" Luther Strode  pieces!

OK, so the story on that is Tradd was holding onto it all this time. Mostly for sentimental reasons. I've been checking in on it periodically over the past several years. Just got lucky this time.

I understood what anxiety/panic attacks were, in the abstract. But I'd never experienced them before this. Now I know exactly what they are. Just gotta deal with it, no choice.

@Felix re: commissions are they completed in the order payment is received or do your artists work by feel?

No order, just whatever subject moves the artist at any given time. That results in the best art...it can't be "work".

Anyone switching to digital comics after this pandemic? A few people I know have, but I want to make sure my local shop survives.

@Ankur, not necessarily an increase. But you have to remember that our sales volume, both in published art and commissions, have been unprecedented in this hobby the past several years. So the fact that we have still been trending up despite everything going on, is unexpected. Not complaining!

I do read the occasional digital ones.. mostly just for research when I buy OA though

felix if an artist said hes not going to sell his pages until his run is over, would you assume a year?

@ankur I plan on finding a new shop, but I won’t be able to be an every Wednesday guy anymore due to proximity, so I’ll probably buy digital versions of the books I might want to buy art from so I can be prepared for the art drops lol
