@Andy...DWJ different from Adlard, though. He writes/draws his own work, so more of a personal voice.
Rob Rusch
2:45
Hey @Jason!
James M
2:45
Hi everyone.
Rob Rusch
2:45
@RyanP haha, nice!
Andy
2:45
maybe that's the diff between the hired gun and, as felix would say, the autur (although he'd spell it correctly)
Felix Lu
2:45
Auteur! And yes.
Rob Rusch
2:45
@Jason a quick review of comps seems to indicate it was fair to high
Malvin
2:45
@Johnathan, Im not Felix, but I assume before an artists starts, he tags who its going to
Andy
2:45
@JonathanW - I'd get the one i don't like - that's a comission fact!
Rob Rusch
2:45
Agree it is a fabulous piece though. I could see one taking the position that a prime color piece of Spider-Man OA should be worth more
Rudra
2:46
@Rob Rusch, am I correct in thinking that your wife likes the Tradd Moore Silver Surfer page. If so she has exquisite taste in art and you might as well let her do all the art buying
Keith B.
2:46
@jason k... all of those 5 commissions are incredible!

The WoS cover was nice.   The coloring threw me off as it didn't completely jive with the published colors.   Regardless, it was a great piece and a solid price
Jason K
2:46
@felix personally like this one better
Felix Lu
2:46
Then you should have gotten it! But I would bet you're also the only one who feels that way!
Andy
2:46
@Ryan - how do you think scottie's sales have gone now that he's doing them himself?
And I meant "stature" - statues will have to wait :)
Keith B.
2:46
cant wait for the end of Wonder Woman Dead Earth
Jonathan W.
2:46
@Felix Ah that makes sense, thank you. Those Bertram pieces are f*****g bananas, pardon my Russian
Rob Rusch
2:46
@Jason - it also looks like there's some damage on the WoS cover
Alvaro
2:47
Hi everybody! First time I get to the chat. Gotta say, very happy to catch it and SUPER GLAD for the amount of donations. Way to go!
Felix Lu
2:47
Thanks Alvaro! And thank you for your donation!
Jason K
2:47
@andy - extremity did get nominated for an eisner. but i don't seem to have a good handle on what's mainstream popular
Rob Rusch
2:47
@Rudra you are correct! That's one of her favorites. She also loves the Mephisto piece from Thanos Wins and the Zaffino cover where CGR has Thor's hammer. Otherwise, she's a huge fan of D&D and other fantasy art
Alvaro
2:47
You are so welcome! :)

really learned a lot from the episode Felix. especially about advocating. thanks
Felix Lu
2:55
Thanks Jason. So important. Have seen too many times now how much difference that can make.
Andy
2:56
I think this chat's being done over whatever came before dial-up modems
Felix Lu
2:56
Heh...can only share what people post! There will be lulls...
Rudra

I was surprised by the Bissette/Totleben Swamp Thing page that went for $11k. I thought it was somewhat mediocre and didn’t expect to go nearly that high.
