Yo Kuri--yes. I think as a director. An illustrator (as great as they may be) (Bernie Fuchs, Gruau, etc) will depict a scenario. A director will write and envision the scenario. Illustrators and artists (directors) overlap at times...a proper cartoonist thinks a a director! Every direction is good, no art is nihilistic.

Ron--yes, please read Dune. Also read Starship Troopers (Heinlein) and Scanner Darkly (PK Dick). 1984 I assume you've read....science fiction is the art of social prediction.

Satya--we are all collectors. I also own some originals. My heart is Italian cartooning. I own a few of those.

@Felix, regarding my recent commissions with your guys, your podcast jumpstarted my collecting bug. I'm still catching up after discovering it a couple months ago.

The @paul pope is my second commission. I got my first 15 years ago directly through Paul. Spidey vs the Terrible Tinkerer!
