@jason I will only confirm I’ve denied a 50k offer for it.
Morgan

@Paul Pope - Dune is my second favourite Sci-fi novel.  You absolutely must ready "Earth Abides" by George R. Stewart.  It was written in the 40's and anticipated a pandemic. It has been my go to read every summer for over a decade!  Highly recommended!

Cristian--thank you for making such an incredible work of art possible. And I love the bootleg/punk ethos. You brought some of the best artists working today under the umbrella of the Dark Knight of Comics, our own Frank Miller. We ALL stand on the shoulders of giants. Frank acknowledged the greats before us, and may we always see the greats upon whose shoulders we stand.

I can’t wait to see what James does for my commission I gave him a list of like 4-5 topics to pick from. I can’t really remember what all I put on it tho lol!

@Chris...BOOM. A Pope Claudia Cardinale would be pretty nice, too.

@paul interesting. I thought American Vampire was a great vehicle for a western when I read that era of it.

@Aj Disney owns everything now, just need to figure a way to put the pieces together.  Do they ignore all previous FOX movies or not?  Will it be part of the Multiverse of Madness?
Jason K
4:00

Chris S
4:00
@Felix Lu are you serious??
Felix Lu
4:01
@Chris...let's ask Paul! Paul, am I crazy, or have you done a Charles Bronson "Harmonica" before??
Mikail
4:01
@Felix, there was another collector who also seemed to be starting some DKR recreations a couple years ago. Do you know how far he got?
Felix Lu
4:02
@Mikail...here's the evolution: I did a couple of pages...another collector then set out to do a multi-page sequence (Bats vs Supes)...but Cristian is the only one to say fuck it, I'm doing a whole issue bitches!!

Hi, everyone. Full credit to Felix for the massive success of the past four days. If anyone deserves everything that is coming to them then it has got to be the hardest working man in the original comic art scene. Even a fogey like myself who may not “get” all of the Felix Comic Art band and considers himself “old-school” can appreciate good design, draughtsmanship, composition (yes, one cover, thanks for asking; looking forward to it). Speaking of “old-school”, can anyone tell me what is going on with the other big drop that happened on Saturday evening - Richard Corben. This is a living legend. And there aren’t many of those still around - Adams, Crumb, Windsor-Smith, Steranko. Yet he prices his work at less than some young turk who has come off a hot mini-series. (No, I did not; not even close). No wonder traffic crashes the site and he sells out in two minutes. But can anyone tell me why he is selling himself so short?
Felix Lu
4:03
@Simon...thank you my friend!
4:04
As for Corben...yes, he is selling himself way too short. So much of the art from his drops just ends up getting flipped. But his choice, of course!
