Yeah, they mention that in the doc too. The overall market goes up, but certain artist rise and fall. And yes, I only buy what I personally like. I’ve strayed from that a few times and have always been unhappy with the purchase.

Thank you, Chris. As I've said to everyone, I'm staying as busy as I can, to stay as distracted as possible. It's working to a manageable degree so far. And for you guys, at least, tons of great new art all the time! And new content like this!

Joe - I think something like gold is a decent corollary to art. Not saying they track tick for tick but generally move up over time with occasional periods of over exuberance.

@Alvaro, They talk about conceptual art a bit, but in general, most concept aren’t isn’t something you can easily sell at auction. The main story thread of the doc is following a few artists and art buyers leading up to a major auction.

Hi guys. Has the SSB market corrupted anyone else’s spending lately, especially on modern stuff? Everything seems cheap to me now and The I “have” to buy it because it’s such a deal.

@Joe L Indeed. Specially when they are some ready-made pieces! I remember some years back in Arco, the Madrid festival, there was a Francisco Franco statue inside a fridge... It made a point alright, but I can hardly imagine buying it, let alone exposing it at a house!
