@Jon...most collectors aren't. It's a huge commitment. I try to keep things balanced for artist and collectors. In the end, though, my job is to sell as much as I can for the artists. So complete issues sales help accomplish that. But again, I do also always try to have art available for everyone, as well.

@Jon - as a collector I'm happy to see books staying together. Think the Felix sales have rarely been broken up which is awesome

Depending on the book overall cost, Felix is very fair with time payments. I couldn't pull off like a DWJ DE but do have a full issue.

I have one complete comic issue and I love it.  IT was pricey, but a neat piece to have in the collection.  I agree with most though...not something that I’m likely able to afford again.

I was trying to acquire a complete issue earlier this year but then the rep (who shall remain nameless) ghosted me after a few emails that had already taken them a month each to answer. If I had ended up with the issue I wouldn’t have ended up with an SSB page. So it all works out usually.

Little behind but Strode was such a good book. Sold my floppies a while back, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Those oa pages are GORGEOUS.

I get the appeal. There are single issues I am so in love with that I would want the whole thing. The recent Ghosts issue of Hellblazer and last years Clooney/Conrad issue of Doom Patrol come to mind.

I wish I could afford a complete issue of The Dreaming but it’s way beyond me. There’s a couple pages I’m dying for, more than any other OA art. They just hit me in the gut. In my dreams I get the pages and ask Bowland if he’ll send me his lettering so I can vellum overlay them onto the page...

@Jacob...you can do the overlay yourself...or have someone do it...just need the comic...they'll scale up to fit the art...

I assume when something on the felix site is "on hold" it's a timed payment issue?

@Jon, as a collector I get a little bummed but as a fan of the artist I am extremely happy an issue is sold complete. Plus Felix is great with time payments, only way I was able to get mine

I can’t wait to burst my complete Felix artist issue. Was so close to buying Rossmo’s BWL one shot but it was just over my max by about 2k I think. Regret not getting that one frequently.

I have thought about getting an overlay for framing this. Does anyone know someone who does good work on the Overlay front.
