Hey @Felix, wanted to ask about potential future opportunities. With how high the prices have gotten for Tradd's work, will there be any opportunities aside from remarks to get "affordable" art in the future? Thinking along the lines of the 4x6 option you have been offering for some of the other artists. Thanks!
Felix Lu

@Morgan...I would say unlikely, because Tradd is just not built to sketch. BUT...if anything changes, everyone will get a shot, as usual.

I thought I was pretty quick on the first drop and just not quick enough. Was awesome seeing it all go though. Super happy for tradd

I just re-read issue #2. As astounding as Tradd's art is, I love seeing him stretch as a storyteller. He's deep in his bag in this issue.

Having the video interview with Tradd the same week as the sale was a great thing to do.  It really helped look at the pages in a different way.
Felix Lu
1:30
@Tom...thanks! More than anything, wanted fans to hear directly from the creator!

Felix, pardon me if I sound like a noob, but why does Tradd’s art command such prices? Is it purely the next level nature of his work? Is it ‘cos he has less stuff out there, so it’s scarce? I’m a huge fan of Tradd’s, so I’m glad he’s finding this level of success. I just don’t really understand how such new work from a relatively new creator is hitting such heights pricing wise?
Felix Lu
1:31
@Zach...it just comes down to supply and demand. Tradd is not a prolific artist. He *might* be able to put out one issue per year. Couple that with the demand that's been built and here we are.

Any chance of getting Issue #2 remarked?
Felix Lu
1:31
@Eddie...probably not, We bought stacks of issue #1 only.

It was interesting to hear Tradd talk about the influence Caspar David Friedrich.  I never would have made the connection without him talking about it.

@Tom...other people wrote me with the same response.

Felix, what changed for Tradd to offer DS:FS originals for sale? I remember that post-SSB, the word was that he might not sell any more original work for a long time.
Felix Lu
1:33
@Casey...I asked him the same question on the livestream! I don't remember what he said there, but he did tell me that he just felt OK letting it go now. Not gonna question it beyond that!
1:34
He actually gave me the OK late last year, then changed his mind. When he changed his mind yet again recently, I made sure that he was sure. He was. Collectors got lucky!

Any plans to do similar livestreams with other artists?
Felix Lu

@Rob...yes!
Seamus

Tradd's art for issue two feels more like art for a literature book. Just so good!
