@Zach everyone should do the Tradd Moore test. Put one of his pages next to pages from other artists. He makes most artists look like they are drawing wrong-handed with a crayon.

@Stefano...sorry, don't remember...but it was a panel page, not the cover...although there were multiple requests for that too, even at that price point.

@Mark V when I first read the series I loved the art but hated the story. Re-read 1 and 2 and it’s really growing on me. My mistake was going into it expecting a traditional narrative.

Seems like yesterday you made that video at SDCC with an introduction to Tradd's work.  Pitarra was so beautifully articulate in that.  And I can't imagine what it must have meant to Tradd to see Kim Jung Gi applauding like that.

KJG was actually a fan of our guys. He followed us. The first time we met him was in Japan, a total coincidence. James Harren was first to say hi and before he could say anything, Master Kim shouted out "James Harren!" He already knew who he was and was already a fan.

i see the comment "Tradd is just not built to sketch". no hope he might do one of the coming CAL sketch roulette pieces? be some killer good pr, but of course I don't understand all what it would mean from a scheduling/business/political aspect.

@Seamus...sorry, not going to happen. I would love for him to sketch, but #1 priority is his long-term health. And ultimately, he does what he wants.

@Brady,,,no question, Tradd was blown away with what happened. But I can assure you that was not his motivation. He lives a very spartan existence as anyone who knows him will confirm.

RE: Sticker shock - the prices make me feel good that I have at least 1 piece in my collection (SSB) that's worth more than what I paid at the drop.  I don't know about the rest of my collection, but I got one thanks to Tradd & Felix.

I like how Tradd draws inspiration from everything from fine art to video games and how those references change for each new project. Most comic artists recycle old comic artists and stay in the same style.
