@Lambo - I got to see it live.  He was working on it when I got to his table.  It turned out spectacular!
Malvin

is there any other option other than Robert Dennis though? Gordon CHristman is backed up
Felix Lu
5:30
@Malvin...maybe John Wayne Gacy is available?
Simon B
5:30
and most of the marvel comics we loved are counter culture characters and stories. These trumpers that “love them” miss the boat completely
Felix Lu
5:30
@Simon B...great point
Jason Wood
5:30
@ML...that's fair. I didn't mind paying premium $$ since they're permanent. My first tattoo cost me $200 and took six hours a decade ago. These cost me $500/hour!
Malvin
5:30
good thign I don't need anythign restored (and last used Robert Dennis in 2018)

Lonely City by Cliff best thing I read this week
Jason Wood
5:31
@felix please tell Cliff he absolutely SMASHED Catwoman: Lonely City
Grant Riddle
5:31
So much to watch out there. Trying to catch up on movies with sports this time of year is tough. Watching Midnight Mass on Netflix. Really enjoying it.
Josh Hall
5:31
@Jason I definitely enjoyed it more than the previous but more than anything it was the score and the timing throughout. I don’t tend to flock towards horror films but this one just struck for its brutality and again music more than anything haha

5:31
@lam dan baldemar is amazing and super nice @jason long DWAC? Lol
Reba
5:31
@andy K my favourite catwoman too. It's our age lol
Felix Lu
5:31
@Reba...I think that's why I've liked DKR more and more as I get older lol
Rob Rusch
5:32
@Simon 100%. Comics are pretty clear where they're coming from
marcus wai
5:32
there's a Los altos outfit that does title overlays
Dan T
5:32
Looks like I need to read my copy of Catwoman: Lonely City.  Haven't read this week's books yet.
JasonK
5:32
Agree on Cliff's Catwoman. Great start
ML
5:32
Less than $500/hr scares me 🤣
Mark V
5:32
Once Midnight Mass gets going it really gets going.
Victor B.
5:32
@Felix, is Cliff’s Catwoman selling complete?
Felix Lu
5:32
@VictorB...sorry, the art is not available per Cliff's wishes. Will be left to his son. I support that 100%!
Josh Hall
5:33
@Lambo I could not agree more! I’ve sold off some of my hardcovers recently for various reasons but the Reckless ones and Criminal especially I plan to hold onto. I love the surprise we got with MHHABJ.
JasonK
5:33
@jasonwood happy you guys highlighted soul Plumber on the pod. Fun as hell
Jason Wood
5:33
@andy DWAC running shouldn't be something that bothers me, but it REALLY bothers me. LOL.
ML
5:33
I cant restore but happy to help with titles
Aidil
5:33
@grant riddle,Midnight Mass is a good watch, slow burn but the dialogue is so good
Malvin
5:33
@marcus heh, I'm after restoration not title stats (those are neat thogh).  But as I said, good thign I have no pressing need at the moment (pun intended)
Jason Wood
5:33
Ah, glad to hear @jasonk...the art is DOPE on that book
ML
5:33
Cliff is so meticulous - the pages must be gorgeous.

Curious how big everyone's collection is and how long they've been collecting?
I bought my first original page earlier this year, and it's exciting to get into the hobby :)
Felix Lu
5:34
Welcome Aaron! As I say to all new collectors...congrats on discovering the greatest comics hobby...and condolences to your wallet
Lambo
5:35
@malvin  hey malv
Dan T
5:35
@Aaron S-R: I'd rather not say because it'll make me confront the fact I have a problem.
ML
5:35
Aaron welcome! Are you on CAF?
Mark V
5:35
@Aaron I’m also a new collector. Bought my first piece earlier this year
Andy k
5:35

marcus wai
5:35
@Aaron S-R 1996 too many
Jason Wood
5:35
@Aaron S-R welcome! The hobby grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. I've been collecting for about 13 years, but like most it's ramped as I've gone along. I'm in what my wife likes to say "frenetic mode" these days. I'm fast approaching 1,000 pieces.
