@jason @felix I didn't appreciate DWJ till Murder Falcon 1, which was my favorite book of the year it came out. I didn't appreciate Tradd M toll *after* SDFC... I'm definitely on the slow side w the modern artists.

@josh @ lambo I love Brub&Phillips, abd I think their Criminal books are respected, but the OA is grossly undervalued. In part bcs its often not full size I guess.

I'm a huge Brubaker/Phillips fan and for me, the best thing they've done is PULP from last year. Definitely check it out!

@malvin never did a single deal with them. generally found them hard to approach decades ago and didn't go back. just got an unfriendly vibe from them early on and to be fair, it could have just been me. i've heard that they are easier, and when i say they, it's one of the bros rich who i have had a couple of nice convos twith at the new jersey comic art show. so nothing against them but just never really got to know them
