Andy - how much influence do comics have over animation and animators today?

There's so many influences that hit home. CG animation is an amalgam of old 2d animation, live action, comics and video games. And anything else you can throw in. It's fun to see new things pop up. I feel like manga and anime are bigger influences than ever. The generation that grew up with manga in barnes and noble and elsewhere are finally getting their shot to tell stories. It's pretty cool!

I'd love to do an animated version of the Mutant Massacre storyline. One of my favorites. Of the modern stories, it would be cool to do a animated SSB! Tradd makes me want to animate!

I liked drawing those characters. I worked on them early in my career and it was really different. We cleaned the drawings up with sharpies, which blew my mind. I have a real fondness for those shows I worked on at Klasky-Csupo.

I thought Invincible was really fun. I liked seeing how they adapted the story. Really nice staging and voice work.
