CG has been good in many ways, but is a double edged sword. I miss the days of 2d animation. I love the amount of drawing that we used to do.

I am lucky in that way. We will do drawings for each other every so often. And at Pixar we do charity auctions to help raise funds for things we believe in. I've been lucky to get some great art from friends.

So Andy, what are your top choices for character commissions for yourself and for other artists to draw?

I have a list that I've been building over time of characters that I like. Some depends on the artist and what they are good at drawing. I like Batman, Daredevil, Magik and Silver Surfer a lot!

I love published stuff first and foremost. I am not a big fan of risk, so it took me a long time to get comfortable with commissions. But as i've gotten better with it, I've loosened up my sentiments towards it. I have a few commissions I'm waiting on now.

I have a commission about to happen with Gerardo Zaffino. I can't wait for that. And I want to get a few more from Felix's crew when their lists open up.

I really hope Kentaro Miura left some notes for the direction of Berserk down the road.  Such a sad loss.  It makes me hope that Oda sticks around with us to finish One Piece.
