@Mike...like the SSB #5 cover, it was not for sale. Despite the dozen unsolicited offers we were getting. Then one guy stepped up an blew everyone else away. So Tradd decided to sell. Congrats to the buyer (as I sob in the corner).

@Fred - Good question! Yeah, I'm just an art lover in general! Lover of visual art through the ages - painting, drawing, sculpture, architecture. Obsessed with all that! Love studying how art, philosophy, culture, history, and politics intersect. Comics and video games are my biggest genre & pop-culture pleasures, though!

That Batman story is incredible. I love the sequential storytelling at the bottom of Page 6 with the punch. So, so well done

J.H. Williams III had the same situation with his BATMAN B&W story and ended up selling it for a ridiculous amount, too.

@JasonK - I'll definitely return to creator owned! Already got 3 books gestating in my mind... we shall see if they come to be! Same as I like bouncing back and forth from Big 2 to creator owned projects, I foresee myself bouncing back and forth between writing for myself and collaborating with writers.

I was wondering in regards to SSB was there every anything that Donny wrote in the script that was just too crazy or wild to get on paper? I’ve read some of his scripts and it’s amazing how crazy his ideas are before the artist brings them to reality.

@Dakota...great question because I know that's the common perception, that the writer is the primary creator. Not always the case, and maybe not even usually the case. Not the case here, in any event. I'll let Tradd answer!

@Felix - You are 100% right about that! I was actually expecting and waiting for Marvel to make the announcement for the current Spidey run. @Tradd, It would be *Awesome* if you could do a spidey limited series!!

@Dele...the reality is that Tradd's work does not lend itself to monthly comics. So there couldn't be a traditional ASM run a la Todd. But a limited series would be great!
