I'd rather have Ashcraft. I've like Lyle but he's in that contact-oriented corner OF bucket that's tough to pull off. Ashcraft seems like a long-term reliever but he's a notable prospect who has missed bats and gotten ground-balls in Triple-A

It's somewhat similar to Quinn Priester, who has not been good in his MLB career but netted the Red Sox a pretty good low minors outfield prospect and the 33rd overall pick in a trade this spring
