  1. We have gone from let Russel "cook" to Russel's goose is cooked in about 5 weeks.  Is it just me, or did the combination of bad team/defenses and the luck of timely turnovers give everyone a false sense of success with Wilson's early games? It seems that once the competition ramped up and good teams took care of the ball, put up points, and put the pressure on the offense, Wilson's height, age and decision making skills against tough defenses started to get exposed.  I know hindsight is 20/20, but do you think the change from Fields to Wilson that the national media heralded as genius by Tomlin was really the nail in the coffin for the growth of the offense? The good news, now we know Wilson is not the answer; the bad news, we are not sure if Fields is worth bringing back. Thanks for the chat Jerry!

Kudos to you on your won loss projections for 2024. You were way more optimistic than me. What grade would you give for the free agent pick ups. I’m at a low C with Elliot and Queen lifting the grade

The top FA pickups I don't have a problem with. And don't forget Fields and Jackson were trades. It's some of the others that were pointless -- Jefferson, Watkins, Patterson, Pruitt.
