In a chat earlier this season, you were asked if the team would bring back Munch to coach OL and you replied "No chance".   Does Munch have heat with somebody in the building?  Are the Rooneys too cheap to pay Meyers not to coach?  Something else?
Gerry Dulac
10:46
I don't think I said "no chance" about EVER bringing him back.

Why do you think the offensive line play hasn’t improved?  Seems like in past years they’ve started slow and then played better by the end of the season. This year they haven’t really progressed. Thanks Gerry!
Gerry Dulac
10:46
Good question. There are not playing as well now as they did earlier.

Gerry, isn't it somewhat of a distraction to have Artur Smith Interviewing for head coaching jobs on a week of a playoff game?
Gerry Dulac
10:47
None whatsoever.

Wow, in your Week 17 Picks, you correctly predicted Kenny Pickett would lead the Eagles to victory over the Cowboys! Are you some kind of die hard closet Kenny Pickett fan?
Gerry Dulac
10:47
Actually, Bill, I knew the third-team QB would be playing because Pickett was injured again.

If the Steelers lose their wild card game, Russel Wilson is 6-6. If so, is Wilson out of the “pole position” and is the Stellers starting quarterback position for next year wide open based on his average results?
Gerry Dulac
10:48
Bill, I actually do think it will be wide open, which us another reason why your boy in Philly made a dumb move to do what he did.

Gerry, Thanks for the chats and Steelers insights. Chances of Justin Fields on the roster in 2025? Is RW worth the estimated contract?
Gerry Dulac
10:49
Pretty good, I'd say
Tim
10:49
Do you think the Pirates and Steelers ownership's lack of urgency to be more than mediocre feeds on each other? And also that they feel don't feel the pressure of fans to do anything differently and gives them cover from their inaction?
Gerry Dulac
10:49
Once again, don't compare the two. The other ownership is a joke.

Trade Pickens for a Rd 2 pick, acquire a high level Free Agent (Diggs, Cooper, Higgins) and then use that 2nd pick for a more team oriented WR…eg, Ladd McConkey,

I'm running out of cash to pay people!

10:50
How does a good coach, good team go on such a losing bender?
Gerry Dulac
10:50
Good question. It happens waaaay too frequently.

10:50
Do you think the Steelers will continue there trends on offense this week? (Telegraphing the run on 99% of the time on first downs)
Gerry Dulac
10:51
I sure hope not. And I don't expect it. If they don't come in with an aggressive attitude -- and not use that same old approach to keep the game close -- shame on them.

The national media is hinting that Tomlin gets "traded". Not happening I know. Question, can a coach actually get traded like a player, or is he just given permission to negotiate elsewhere in exchange for cop
Gerry Dulac
10:52
How many times this season have I said not to believe the national media??? They have no clue about what the Steelers actually think
Jake

I’m a huge Tomlin fan, I’d love to see him win this week to cool off the criticism. Do you think he deserves the outside noise due to his past results?
Gerry Dulac
10:52
Of course he does Jake. It's hard to defend his postseason record.

Hi Gerry. The Steelers late season collapses are more than a trend or a pattern. They have become a characteristic of Tomlin coached teams. Do you think a playoff loss in Baltimore will prompt Mr. Rooney to consider a head coaching change in the off season?
Gerry Dulac
10:53
I think it will prompt more discussion about it, but nothing more than that. But you never know

Any idea why inexperienced Corey Trice was on top reciverJamar Chase all Benhals game instead of Joey Porter?
Gerry Dulac
10:53
They flip-flopped

10:53
Do we have the QBs on the 2025 season roster now?
Gerry Dulac
10:53
Yes. Now, which ones.......

Have pickens negatives outweighed his positives and will he be on the team next year
Gerry Dulac
10:54
Yes they have. And that's to be determined.

Tomlin wants to possess the ball, and then dials up an offense week after week/year after year that leads to 3 and outs? Scratching my head!!!!
Gerry Dulac
10:54
Be careful you don't start to bleed.

Hi Gerry. It seemed as if the Steelers suffered self inflicted wounds against the Eagles and Ravens that changed the course of both games. If they play mistake free football on Saturday I actually think they have a chance against Baltimore. But do you think Tomlin will let Arthur Smith open up the playbook and actually put some trust in their HOF QB? It seems like their best path to securing victory.
Gerry Dulac
10:55
I think any team that plays mistake-free football thinks it has a chance to win, especially if the other team isn't mistake-free.

Good morning Gerry, thank you for your coverage all season.  Tomlin's non losing streak is extremely impressive, and unlike to be surpassed.  However,  it is just as disappointing to be good for that long without post season success.  Jets or Bears will build a statue for him if he can come close to repeating that resume.  Here in Pittsburgh we are hoping for something else.
Gerry Dulac
10:55
Bingo!!

10:55
Do you anticipate the Steelers doing anything significantly different this off-season to get out of the "middle of the road" rut they've been stuck in for the past several years?
Gerry Dulac
10:56
They better. They desperately tried this season and, as of right now, it hasn't worked.
