Hello Gerry . Thank you as always for the chat . Everyone has knives out for Tomlin but why no one is calling out Omar khan . This guy traded first round QB for 20 spots in draft . I don’t know what was hurry to trade him in offseason ? His last 2 drafts only  got one solid starter , JPJ last year and Frazier this year . OL is not fixed after 2 first round picks . In order to replace #1 WR , he got a receiver in 3rd round and never got anything done in free agency . There is no speed on Defense . But he gets free pass . And some people call him Khanartist . I don’t get it . He is great Capologist but why is he the GM ? Thank you .

They traded him because Kenny was upset and got his little feelings hurt that they brought in Russell Wilson. So he demanded a trade and got his wish

How would you evaluate Omar's performance?  I think it has been poor.  This team is in worse shape since he became GM.  His drafts have been mediocre.  He may know the financial side but he is not a operational football minded GM.  I guess that is why he needs an assistant.  T

Yeah, that Isaac Seumalo, Patrick Queen and DeShon Elliott are terrible. And I still can't believe he traded Chase Claypool to get the 32nd pick in the draft. And remember this: The players the Steelers draft are only as good as the ones put in front of them by those who evaluate them. And how those players are used depends on how they are coached and/or used.

Gerry might we be reliving history with the first change occurring in the front offices and a later change at coach like Dan Rooney patiently executed through the mid 80s into the early 90s first firing his brother as player personnel director  and later moving coach Noll to the front office.

I would let Wilson walk and retain Fields. Then draft a QB such as Dillon Gabriel of Oregon. The only way I bring Rodgers in is if Adams is part of the deal. What say you?

Mike Tomlin said yesterday, and I am paraphrasing, that they have been or are going to approach things differently in attempt to see different results. To many fans, the approach seems very similar year after year. What could this "different approach" look like in 2025?

Steelers Awful Defense has cap charge over $100 Million.  Rams by Comparison, combined cap charges for Monday’s starting 11: ONLY $21.33 million. That’s 8.4% of the team’s 2024 salary cap and they Dominated the Vikes.  Any reason why the Steelers should not start chopping salary and refresh with better talent?

I will correct you: Jackson was the 32nd pick and I believe the Ravens traded into the first round to get him with the final pick
