I'd imagine Colbert and Tomlin were surprised a MILB didn't fall to them in the first round of the draft and did not move to acquire someone in FA. How do you see them insuring that this doesn't happen again in 2019? Thanks again, Gerry.

Being willing to take a chance. The defensive rookie of the year, Darrius Leonard, who came from the same school as Javorn Hargrave, was had on the second round. So he was available to them. Obviously they didn't think enough of him to take him No. 1. I'm not saying I'm the expert, but at the combine and leading up to the draft I thought Leonard checked every box for what they were seeking at ILB.

Yeah that offense is terrible w him. BTW, you know how many teams had more 100-yard rushing games than the Steelers (6) -- three. Rams, Cowboys and NYG. I wouldn't exactly call that a horrible imbalance as though they neglect the run game.

When we have a prolific running game Big Ben and the receivers are the beneficiary and the defense isn't left on the field time of possession used to be a big thing with Bill Cowher teams

Do you know Bill Cowher's philosophy -- throw early to run late!! When you have an elite QB, you don't run the ball primarily. They are gunslingers, not mailmen
