I'm sorry if you covered this topic. My question is this. AB just received a reworked contract the other year. more upfront money. Now he wants out. Does the team have any way to receive money back from him or lessen the salary cap hit since he requested to be traded?
Gerry Dulac
12:35
No. That's money spent. His signing bonus of approx $7 million each the next three years is what comprises the $21 million in dead money they will have on the salary cap in 2019

What do you think of the Browns picking up Hunt?  I’m glad the Steelers didn’t sign him.
Gerry Dulac

Incredibly stupid. Here's a franchise, with a very good rookie RB in Nick Chubb that finished the second half of the season on a very positive, encouraging note, that soils their new-found image by signing a player who is on video committing a criminal act. And only because he is a good player. The GM Dorsey sold out what is right for the ability to improve his team, and all because he drafted the guy when he was at KC. They deserve everything they get.

Is there anything AT ALL coming from Steelers HQ regarding action on AB?  I was surprised that no Steelers coaches or brass commented on AB's official request to be traded.
Gerry Dulac
12:40
Don't hold your breath. They're not going to comment. And why would they?
Ryno
12:40
I've read multiple comments about the interviews Antonio Brown did at the Super Bowl. I haven't actually seen any of them. Did he really come across as being impaired?
Gerry Dulac
12:40
He sure did

Do you agree that replacing Ryan Shazier should be the Steelers first pick in this years draft
Gerry Dulac
12:41
That should have been last year too

It sure is getting old trying to defend the daily drama with our Steelers. How do you treat a spoiled child? You punish him. I hope they trade him to the worst fit possible for him. We have to make a point here don’t you agree?
Gerry Dulac
12:43
That sounds nice and vindictive, I agree. I think the Steelers would love to do that w LeV Bell too. But it will all come down to where they can get the best offer. The double dip would be the best offer from Buffalo or Detroit

AB needs to learn the meaning of "never bite the hand that feeds you"
Gerry Dulac
12:43
Learning anything would be an endeavor unto itself for him

Hi Gerry, i think we need to find AB metal help. He seems to think he can replicate his production with any other QB hahah. He forgets that alot of his production comes from unscripted plays which are all preformed by the greatest "backyard" QB that ever stepped foot on a NFL field. this guy is delusional.
Gerry Dulac
12:43
You make WAAAY too much sense!!
Ryno
12:44
you had to guess, do you think Brown realizes he can flirt with SF players and legends all he wants, but it is the Steelers that will dictate where he ends up?
Gerry Dulac
12:44
I don't have to guess. It's not up to him. It's like wanting a date with the prettiest girl in the class. Doesn't mean she feels the same way.
Dave
12:45
Ab trade-  think it’s best offer in advance of paying roster bonus? Or possible they pay it, and see if offers improve closer to the draft?
Gerry Dulac
12:47
Why would you pay a player who skipped out on his teammates, refuses to call the owner and the coach, $2.5 million when you don't want him?? That ain't happening either.
Eric
12:47
What is the lowest possible value of a pick do you feel the steelers would accept for AB ?
Gerry Dulac
12:48
If you're suggesting they might balk at an offer and not trade him because of that, forget it. That's not happening. Look, some team or teams are going to want Antonio Brown. Maybe not for a No. 1 or even a 2, but someone will.
Ryno
12:48
Your guess as to the actual date the Steelers send AB out of town?  Do they eat the 2.5M in roster bonus, or is he gone before that?
Gerry Dulac
12:48
No. See above answer. March 17 final date

12:48
Ravens and Broncos announced Flacco trade today. Do you see the Steelers getting a trade for AB done soon, before league year starts, or do you think they are going play it slow?
Gerry Dulac
12:49
I don' think there's any timetable.
12:50
OK, kids, we're out of time, even overtime. Thanx for the questions.
