How much, if any, do the minority owners have a say in the team's operation - notably the draft picks?  What about coach staffing (fire/hire) decisions?  Thanks!

why is it so hard for the Steelers to see they made a mistake? Why do they hold on to players to long? Mr Rooney he’s a good owner but at the same time I feel as a fan he is stuck in his old ways this is a passing league u need good qb play to win Pickett ain’t it tomlin also need to change his ways im tired of the never losing season as Steelers fan we are about championships.

I don't think the Steelers are holding on to Pickett "too long" after being a starter for just 1 1/2 seasons

Hi Gerry, obviously this is a big year for Kenny. That being said, in your years of covering the sport has anything changed more than how quickly fans and the media expect a young QB to develop? Very few have looked like world beaters in year 1 or 2. Other than Mahomes, Marino, and now maybe Stroud all QBs take a few years to develop into what they will become. Imagine if Bradshaw's first few years happened in today's world. Fans and the media would've wanted him traded for bag of footballs don't you think?

Agreed!!

Good morning Gerry! Is there a position group that you're most interested to observe this week in Indy?
Gerry Dulac
10:14
DTs (Murphy), C (Powers-Johnson), ILBs (Cooper). Remember those names.

I think if the Steelers draft oline early and add another wr that Pickett can win mvp and the Steelers win the Super Bowl, this season.  Good prediction?
Gerry Dulac
10:14
Yep. Not bad

Hi Gerry! Thanks for the chats! Assuming that Rudolph would be the smart choice for QB2 and next up should Pickett falter or yet another injury, should he sign elsewhere, which other of the rumored QBs do you think would be the best fit for QB2?
Gerry Dulac
10:16
I'm not really thrilled about what's out there to bring in. Tannehill and Mariota, each of whom played under Arthur Smith, would appear to be the most logical.

Is art Rooney III more or less involved in football decisions than his father was?
Gerry Dulac
10:17
I'd say he has the same involvement, though their styles might be a little different

My Google is broke down, can you tell me who has won more games the past 3 years - Pickett or Fields?
Gerry Dulac
10:17
Pickett has 14, fields 10
Danny
10:17
Why haven't the steelers released Robinson or peterson yet
Gerry Dulac
10:18
Patience.

Hay Gerry! I hope you have a great time at the combine. What are your thoughts on free agency ? Any potential signing ?
Gerry Dulac
10:18
I don't think they will be as active as they have been the past two years

Holcomb is injury riddled.. Where do we get a off ball ILB?
Gerry Dulac
10:18
Draft
Danny
10:18
Do u do a mock draft if so when will u do it
Gerry Dulac
10:19
I do not, sorry.

Morning Gerry, is Patrick Queen an option or will the price be to steep?
Gerry Dulac
10:20
He'd be a great fit!!

Which non-Steeler FA do you think has the inside track and is most likely to be signed to the team? I hear a lot about Queen from Baltimore; is that a real possibility?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
It's an intriguing possibility. I don't know how realistic it is. And don't know if the Ravens want to let him walk.

If the steelers resign rudolph would they still try to sign another qb or would they draft one
Gerry Dulac
10:22
I would think a day-3 draft pick

Hey Gerry hope all is well, Who would you want to be the starting QB for next season?
Gerry Dulac

Ben

Surely you've been to all, or most, nfl stadiums. What are your top 3? Where would you rank Acrisure?
Gerry Dulac
10:26
After being in Vegas this year, I've been to them all. Lucas Oil, where I am right now, is my favorite for several reasons. Raymond James in Tampa has always been at the top of my list for outdoor stadiums. Mercedez Benz dome in Atlanta is a bit extreme on the outside -- looks like something from Star Wars -- but it is really cool inside. SoFi is exceptional, but a logistics nightmare

Did Lions Reeves-Maybin signing raise the price of poker for Killebrew to return?
Gerry Dulac
10:27
Maybe. But not impossible. That might be the Steelers most important free-agent re-signing after Rudolph
Stan the Caddy
10:27
Gerry, If Rudolph comes back do you personally believe there will be a true, open competition? Will they actually split the first team reps during OTAs, training camp, and the pre-season or will it look more like 2022?
Gerry Dulac
10:27
Maybe somewhere in between.
