Who has made more money since 2004 - Ben or Art II?
Gerry Dulac
11:37
See what I mean.....

11:37
Who is your favorite player in the draft that should be available in the 1st?
Gerry Dulac
11:38
One of those RBs would suffice.

Can we expect somewhat of a ‘normal’ offseason schedule (e.g. OTAs. Rookie Camp, etc.)?
Gerry Dulac
11:39
Yes, that is the plan. I think OTAs might be a little more restricted than usual, maybe even minicamp, but the intent is to have them, as it is to return to Saint Vincent College for training camp.

How hard is it for outside CB to play the slot? It would seem easier to me than the opposite.
Gerry Dulac
11:40
It probably is, except you might have more responsibilities at the line of scrimmage, depending on the system you play. Mike Hilton was a good fit at the line of scrimmage for the Steelers because of the type of system they played. If the Bengals don't use him that way, it might not work out so well.

What is your opinion on QB Dwayne Haskins?  Is he another Camp body like JT Barrett & Paxton Lynch a year ago?  Will he get a legitimate chance to compete for the backup role? And will FO bring back Josh Dobbs?
Gerry Dulac
11:41
I think he offers them a little more hope that he can actually stick as the No. 3 QB. And, as long as Dobbs is available, never discount the possibility of a return.

Good morning Mr. Dulac.  Is the job of position coach a full time gig?  Besides the actual coordinators, is Jerry Olsavsky at ILB, for example, employed by the Steelers on a year-round basis?  Thank you for your time
Gerry Dulac
11:42
Yes he is and yes they are. They are full-time, well-paid positions.

Hi Gerry, hope you're having a good day. I have a question about "Steelers Insiders". For the PPG - you're the "Insider". For a long time, Ed was considered the insider for here and KDKA and whatnot. For other websites ,reporters such as We sell claim to be an Insider ... My question is - is there someone who really is the definitive "insider"? One who gets the most accurate, "inside" team information from an unnamed team employed source? And, is the "secret source" someone is fairly close to Kevin Colbert, himself? Thanks for the honesty in advance.

There is only one!

If it’s Harris or ETN on the board, who do the Steelers take? Not a huge fan of ETN.
Gerry Dulac
11:44
I like that acronym/monicker you use -- ETN. Everyone knows what that is!! Excuse my ignorance, but is that your original or do outlets use that?? To your question -- Harris

Good morning, Gerry!  My opinion relative to what the Steelers should do with the 1st and 2nd round picks in the draft is: take the best OL or RB available in those two rounds if both picks would be considered prudent. End of story.  Your thoughts?
Gerry Dulac
11:45

11:45
Etienne or Harris if they both are there?  Also, if the Steelers land one of them are they in the backfield for 3 downs or do we see someone else on 3rd down?
Gerry Dulac
11:47
I don't know if Harris is a third-down back, but most teams these days have other options. And a lot of that depends what they want that back to do on third down -- catch, pass protect or decoy?

Despite some rumors being reported, do you think there’s any interest at all by the Steelers to trade a 3rd round or higher draft pick for Sam Darnold, if he’s available? Thank you for your insight.

No

What guys do you think the Steelers still bring in, in FA? Is there a reason why they are waiting so long?
Gerry Dulac
11:47
yeah...money

11:47
Chances of 7 being starter in 2022 Gerry?  As of today 3/31. Best guess?
Gerry Dulac
11:49
I doubt it. Only way I see that happening is if the Steelers get to the AFC title game and that whets their appetite and his some more. If they get to Super Bowl and win, I think he retires.

11:49
Hi Gerry - do you see the Steelers signing an outside FA to be a starter before the draft? Most of their outside signings have been for depth
Gerry Dulac
11:50
Those options are drying up fast. The only position would be center and I don't see one worthy enough out there.
JerseySteel
11:50
Hi Gerry - do you see the Steelers drafting a CB to play in the slot if Sutton moves outside like he said. If so, what is the earliest round (3rd, 4th)?
Gerry Dulac
11:50
I sure hope not
Jay Daven
11:50
Gerry, aren't the Steelers lucky to have players that want to play here for less money than going elsewhere?  Is this a testament to whom, the organization, Tomlin, sports writers or fans?
Gerry Dulac
11:50
It ain't the last two

11:51
The now very common VOID years, if JuJu's contract gets voided next year, does the become a UFA automatically or is he eligible for the franchise tag?
Gerry Dulac
11:51
Both

The incident with Chase Claypool: growing pains or cause for concern?
Gerry Dulac
11:52
I think Chase Claypool is a mature kid who shows a little too much immaturity at times. Hey, he's 23.

Bud is huge loss, even though it was expected.  Seeing them play without him made it MORE apparent.  Do you think Steelers pivot and draft an outside linebacker in 1st or 2nd round knowing with inexperienced corners the rush is more vital than last year?
Gerry Dulac
11:54
Nope, but I could see it happening as high as the third round for depth. But, depending what happens between now and the draft, I wouldn't fall over if they did it on the second round, knowing they value OLB more importantly than any position on defense
TexStill
11:54
Gut feel, are Baker and Lamar good enough overall QBs to build around given that you will have to give them their huge second contracts? They are bargains at their current prices.
Gerry Dulac
11:55
They have not shown that they are not good enough.
