Like the NBA trade deadline, I like draft day trades.  If KC offered 29 & 30 for Steelers pick 20, I think they should jump on it as we need depth and guessing top players they like won’t be there at 20, what say you?

I’ve been disappointed in Bush and personally don’t see him evolving into a monster.  Is there any logic to cutting him loose now, maybe drafting a top 4 round LB and having cap space open up?

If price was right for Honey Badger (a big if I realize) think idea of Steelers having a stout D is what they need in todays AFC.  Your thoughts?

Well, I agree with that, but there is a very significant matter of money that would preclude that from happening.

Thank you for the chats. So with all the talk (chats this week and last) about the Steelers trading up to get a QB, i would much rather see them trade up to 10-13 to get Jordan Davis over the Ravens.  Thoughts?

Trust me, there will be no trade up to get a QB. Now, a couple spot to get a D-lineman, wouldn't shock me. Especially because the Ravens have the 14th pick and Jordan Davis is a Ravens-type player if ever there were one.

Seems like Zach Banner suffered a setback with his knee based on his brace in his farewell video. He was disappointed that he wouldn’t have a future with the Steelers. Any insight as to what happened?

Yeah, his knee. Tore ACL, then had another surgery before camp to fix a problem somewhat related to that. Couldn't move to his left side. Zach is a great guy. Everyone sorry to see that happen after he worked so hard to get where he did

why do the Steelers host players that are not going to be around when they pick? Do they believe maybe one will drop or if they interview a guy and he blows them away they move up or is it for future times when these guys reach the end of their first contracts and are free agents?

Hey, you get 30 interviews ..why not use 'em all. Even if you have only seven picks. And, duh, you never know who is going to be available when you pick so you have to be prepared.
