Any news on Al V?  As noted in prior chat, given number of ex-Steelers on street - including Nelson, let's realize that we can overcome the "loss" of alot of these guys.  Dupree is only meaningful loss IMO.

Good opinion.

Hi Gerry - Do you see Claypool really breaking out this season?  He definitely flashed as a rookie but disappeared at times too
Gerry Dulac

He will be even better.

Do you think we draft a DB somewhere in the draft - with their history of drafting DB's I hope not.
Gerry Dulac

I hope not too. Waste of time

How comfortable would you be taking the injured Alabama center in Round 1, GM Dulac?
Gerry Dulac
11:42
I don't know enough about his injury to fully evaluate.

I think drafting a running back in the first round (especially at No. 24) is never the right option. I believe they need more help on the offensive line and I think think they can find a RB in the second or third round. Do you agree?
Gerry Dulac

No.

Good morning, and appreciate the work, Gerry.  Do  you think for OT, the team needs to draft a true Left tackle - or do you think the team believes Banner or Chucks can play LT?  Seems both of those are suited to RT.

I don't think they have a lot of guaranteed confidence that either can play left tackle on a quality level. But I think Chuks is a better candidate than Banner because he moves better. If the Steelers draft a tackle, it will be a guy who can play left tackle.

What is the Steelers bigger need RB or OL, LT specifically? Thanks for what you do!
Gerry Dulac
11:44
That will be for them to decide. But I still think that is the likely 1-2 scenario for the draft

Do you think the starting QB in 2022 is on our roster?
Gerry Dulac
11:44
Yes he is.

We are one significant injury away from a train wreck at CB and that does not take into account the uncertainty at the nickel spot.  Am I crazy to think a CB is drafted in the second round.  With the FO’s track record that is a scary realization.

Yes, you are crazy to think that. OK kids, that's all the time we have today. Thanx for the questions.
