Gerry, do you feel that Hunt/Khan (carving up of duties, change in titles etc...) is still the likely GM solution and next step, or is there a greater likelihood the Steelers hire externally (given all the interviews)?  Early on the consensus leaned internal hire, has this changed at all?

I do not. Remember this, even if they hire a new GM from the outside, Omar Khan and Brandon Hunt still have their same jobs. It doesn't affect them at all. It will be the same as it was with Kevin Colbert in charge.

Everyone now seems to think the first round pick will be a quarterback. Gerry you have been the rock for us to not do this until rounds 4-7.  The Steelers hopefully will select a wide receiver or defensive lineman or any other position but quarterback this year!  Thank you for guiding us and keeping us on the right track.  I just hope the Steelers don’t mess this up!

Katie, I'm with you. And, honestly, I don't think they will when the time comes. But I only know what I've been told. Doesn't mean it will happen because the Steelers don't know for sure what will happen with the 19 picks in front of them
