Over/Under until fans/some media say they should’ve taken this guy instead? Over/Under this is all Mike Tomlins fault?
Gerry Dulac
11:43
Actually surprised I haven't seen that question yet. Must be a lot of satisfied fans

I’m glad the Steelers didn’t draft Shart Sanders.  How big a circus do you think they’ll have in Cleveland with him?
Gerry Dulac
11:43
They have enough clowns to fill a Big Top

Gerry, what grade would you give the Steelers for player development?  I truly believe this is a very big issue with them & I would give them a D.
Gerry Dulac
11:44
Don't know I would go that low but has been a big problem on the D-line

Hello Gerry, I think the Steelers nailed their draft but that’s easy to say in the offseason and can only really be graded when we start playing some real football….. but anyways, will Will Howard be given a chance in camp to compete for QB2 or is it an automatic to shoe-in to be QB3?
Gerry Dulac
11:45
Depends who they sign
Tyler Donaldson
11:45
Do you think Rodgers signs before June?
Gerry Dulac
11:45
Yes

How does the team view DeMarvin Leal going into this pivotal year for him? Is he going to be playing more as a defensive end, as an edge rusher, or spending time in both spots?
Gerry Dulac
11:45
That's the problem with him and them -- they don't want they have with Leal

Gerry, the Steelers were quiet in FA compared to last year probably because of Comp pick formula; but now that teams can sign players with no effect to that, can we expect the Steelers to address needs in FA again? And if so any expectations?
Gerry Dulac
11:46
Nothing significant now

I can’t help but notice the trend the Steelers have taken draft wise since Andy Weidl came here from Philly and the emphasis of strengthening up front and bolstering the trenches.

Bingo

Hi Gerry why did the Steelers plan on signing woods instead of drafting another receiver?
Gerry Dulac
11:46
They drafted one on the second round -- Metcalf

Morning, Gerry. When it comes to snap counts for Watt and Heyward, is it better for them to play more in the first half to set the tone, last half to change the tone or save the tone? Or just bits and pieces throughout?
Gerry Dulac
11:47
They like to save them as much as possible for the second half and late stages of the game, especially Cam
Gene

Who will be the punter this year Johnston or Waitman? Both are very good.
Gerry Dulac
11:47
Not an issue

“Or, who knows, maybe some else who is very marketable.” Hmm the Steelers do have a lot of edge linebackers now…
Gerry Dulac
11:47
Or maybe somewhere else

Gerry - People say you have to wait 3 years to evaluate a draft. Omar's drafts have all been rated highly by analysts. Isn't the proof going to be in the OL this year? If they continue to be average or below, we'd have to question the last 2 drafts? On the other hand, if the OL turns into a strength, then the last 2 drafts were very strong.

Top 5 picks each of the previous two years made the team. Looks like it will l be 3 in a row for sure. That's pretty good.

I thought we had a great draft. Do you see Pickens gone by trade deadline? Wow not a good day for Mike Sullivans on Monday in  the Burgh. One fired and one not renewed.

I think the 2025 Steeler draft was a good one and should make some interesting competition during he OTA's and training camp and pre-season games.  If Mr. Rodgers decides  he wants to join the Steeler neighborhood that will make it even more interesting......the player who caught my eye this year was UFA Sebastian Castro a safety from Iowa.  The OURLADS draft guide has him listed a possible 2nd to 3rd pick.  His bio reads in part......" a tough defender who seeks out contact.......violent sound tackler who brings ball carriers down with regular success".....and so on.  Lets give him #47 in camp and see if he could be the next Mel Blount?
Gerry Dulac
11:49
He won't get 47

Good day sir! I personally love the pick of Will Howard. Do you think there is a chance he can be our future QB down the road and have a lot of draft capital for other positions next year?
Gerry Dulac
11:49
I like the pick too, but I'll wait and see before thinking that

Do fans expect the Steelers to be stupid and tell them how they really feel about a prospect i.e. Sanders. That would be really bad business correct?
Gerry Dulac
11:50
They dont pay attention

Gerry,  the Browns, per ESPN, said they are not renewing Pickett's 5th year option.  What does that mean for his future NFL status?
Gerry Dulac
11:51
Nothing. Just means he might be on his fourth team next year
Greenwood
11:51
Gerry, Do you think if Rodgers doesn't sign and Howard has a great camp he'll be given a chance to start? I'd think sitting behind Mason for at least a few weeks would be a better idea.
Gerry Dulac
11:51
No. They won't make that decision based on camp and the preseason, not unless Rudolph was injured. They didn't even do that with Ben, and he was phenomenal at camp

Hey Gerry, % chance that KJ is the starting running back by mid way through the season? Man, it's hopeful watching him run so well vs 9 man fronts at Iowa.
Gerry Dulac
11:52
Very good chance
