You will. And they are.

I am predicting that Ben will have a VG year, relative to interceptions!  He won't have to throw into triple coverage to satisfy Mr. Big Chest.  What say you?
Gerry Dulac
11:18
That should help, I agree.

Did they really have a first round grade on Diontae Johnson?  Does that mean they had I'm in the top 32 players available??
Gerry Dulac
11:19
Yes they did and that's basically what that means

Gerry,  how great is it to watch leveon opening his mouth again in NY and watching odell spout off about becoming a dynasty? makes me so glad we got rid of bell and brown (odell is just like him)
Gerry Dulac

Your opinion is shared by many, including the chat host

Thoughts on Tony Romo in the field for the Byron Nelson? I don’t mind it at all but it appears some are upset about him taking a spot in the field.
Gerry Dulac
11:20
That's always the case in those circumstances, but the sponsors put up the money for the event and they can do as they please, even if it means they "cheapen" the field to a degree. Of course, they think it will sell tickets.

Hi Gerry,  thanks for the chats...what do you think is the most important aspect of the new OLine coach in his responsibilities..Munh was a great OLine coach...and he had alot of influence in running game as well...how much of that is daunting to replace
Gerry Dulac
11:22
It's very daunting, tremendous shoes to fill, maybe the biggest in a long long time on the Steelers staff. His most important job will be trying to maintain the principles and technique the linemen learned from Munch.
Dalton

In your view of this roster, what positions need to improve the most to have a realistic shot of winning a Super Bowl? also if Brown could have netted a late first round pick, what position would you have targeted?
Gerry Dulac
11:23
I think they already addressed the areas that needed improved, and did so in a very good way. So much better than last season when they basically did nothing to improve two areas -- CB and ILB

Barron could take Williams Job

Eventually he will

tiger winning the pga next week?

No.

Love the draft...I have a good feeling about all of it.. I feel like the defense will leap forward this year. I also think the offense will be just as successful minus LB and AB.
Gerry Dulac
11:25
The defense should be greatly improved, especially once Bush, Barron and Nelson get acclimated to everyone and each other. The offense already showed it can move on from LBell. They will do the same without 84.

Diontae Johnson looks promising but I was wondering if you know why his receiving production dropped from his sophmore to junior year?
Gerry Dulac
11:25
I do not. Sorry
kevin in Punxsy
11:26
Gerry, as a follow-up to "Dalton" at 11:22, if AB had netted 3 1st round picks, who would you have drafted?
Gerry Dulac
11:27
Why not just ask me if they had the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, who would they take? I don't know. Like Bill Cowher, I'm not into "what-ifs."
tom
11:27
do you see us using a more RB by committee this year so we don't wear guys out?
Gerry Dulac
11:27
Not really. That has never been Tomlin's approach and I don't expect it to change this year, at least, not drastically.
Jim
11:27
We have already shown we can succeed without LB, did it well last year. So we are only talking about replacing AB this year and based on our history I am not worried at all replacing a WR. Are you as confident?
Gerry Dulac
11:27
I would agree w you.
John Flint
11:28
Gerry, do you feel that the Steelers have made the necessary improvements to the defense this offseason?
Gerry Dulac
11:28
Absolutely! Don't you?
Mark
11:28
Gerry, I saw that the Steelers signed an undrafted rookie running back from an SEC school.  Do you know if they had any interest in former Pitt running back, Darrin Hall?
Gerry Dulac
11:29
I do not know, but I will say I kinda liked the way the kid ran at Pitt. Oooh, sorry, can't say the word "kid." AB gets offended
david
11:29
It's not crazy to think that Moncrief can come in and be a legit WR2, right?  Washington still growing, Johnson just a rookie.  Nice depth, but shouldn't we be looking for Moncrief to fill that role?
Gerry Dulac
11:30
"Legit No. 2" is a strong characterization, but he can be a legit No. 3 for sure. But, to start, he will be the No. 2 receiver until James Washington shows he deserves to be on the field a lot.

11:30
Gerry, sorry, but I was being sarcastic re: Dalton's question about who would you pick if the Steelers had received a 1st Rd pick for AB, as I thought his question was ridiculous!
Gerry Dulac
11:30
Thank you. Agreed. Sorry for the misinterpretation
11:32
Well, kids, that's all the time we have today. See you next week, but maybe on a different day. Check your local listings.
