I have read many times that the Steelers had Mason Rudolph rated as a first round pick. That being said, I have never heard anyone from the Steelers organization make that statement, nor have I seen a direct quote from anyone in the organization saying that they had him rated as a first round pick. The only statement from the team was that they had him rated with the other QB's taken in the first round. This sounds to me like they had no QB's with a first round grade in that draft. If there was a statement that confirms that they had him rated as a first round pick, who made that statement, and where can I find it?

Can't go back that far to remember and not about to search Google to find out, though I'm guessing you did. But, I'm sure that if it were said he was rated that high, doesn't mean either KC or MT said it for publication. We do find out stuff off the record, you know.
