So we hear that Pickens was traded because of his attitude and team leaders wanted him gone then players, like Cam, say they were surprised when they heard the news because players were excited to see what DK and Pickens could do this year.  I thought deal was a good return but don't spin it that you got rid of a malcontent he was still a talented WR that could get you wins BUT why keep him if you aren't signing him long term.  They need to change their narrative - we made the trade but playing for a Championship this year - really????  Do they believe that?

They got rid of him because of his attitude and how he had become a problem in the locker room. They were never going to give him a second contract because of that and somebody came along with a pretty good offer

I'm trying not to get too excited about Kaleb Johnson, but some of his college highlights remind me of Le'veon Bell - who was one of the most exciting athletes I've ever seen play in person. Do you think Johnson has what it takes to overcome the hurdles of a vanilla offense and mediocre OL?

I’ve seen Steelers fans say they should have franchise tagged and traded Pickens.  If they only got a 3rd round pick for him when he had a rookie cap salary, why would another team give more than that for a player playing under the franchise tag?

Your Josh Allen joke got me thinking - if they don't feel they have the right picks to trade up into the top 5ish for a QB, could you see management trading a bunch of picks to another team for an already established veteran?

I think they can be a top 10 defense; they were kind of what already. I want to see if they become a top five, and not just in terms of financial investment

Kevin Colbert whiffed on Artie Burns, Edmonds, Pickett and many others but he knew how ton draft WRs. Fair to say Omar has no idea how to bring in quality receivers?

There have been three QBs drafted in the 6th round since 1999 that became franchise QBs.  Don’t fans understand how rare it is?  Apparently those expecting Howard to be the franchise QB don’t understand or want to understand.

Do you think that Rodgers not signing is because he doesn't want to participate in OTA's and summer practices and wait until the eve of training camp? Or is it Rodgers wanting to remain in the news cycle on where he might land?
