Are the Steelers a complete enough team to compete in the way the 49ers competed last year?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
I kinda think they are. I like the moves they made in the offseason to improve the areas that needed most improvement. I liked their commitment to doing so.
Adam

Will Canada make or break this offense?  What is the team doing to ensure his vanilla schemes don't become too predictable?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
That is the million dollar question.

Gerry who’s the starting 5 O-line vs. the 49ers?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
Just listed my depth chart earlier...
Adam
10:21
Do you agree that the Steelers will lose their last three games based entirely on the schedule?
Gerry Dulac
10:22
No, why? Who made that declaration already? Somebody with nothing else to do??
Adam
10:22
Are the Bengals overrated?
Gerry Dulac
10:22
Nope

Gerry, with all the new free agents in today's game, who sets the tone on team chemistry?  Is it the head coach, veterans on the team, both, or let the process develop on its' own?
Gerry Dulac
10:23
A little of each. It starts with the coach, but it grows internally in the locker room, sometimes on its own through game experiences.

Gerry, with an exclusive view that the average fan doesn't have - What one player stands out in your mind as being surprised they never "put it all rogether" on becoming a "star" with the Steelers?
Gerry Dulac
10:25
I'm thinking, I'm thinking....that's a good one. I'd say Martavis Bryant because he had a skill set better than any receiver they've ever had. He flashed tremendous game-breaking ability, but never became a star because of his off-field issues.

I know a lot of focus has been on the offense, but I believe the two units that have been transformed the most this off season has been the inside LBs and the secondary - which of those two do you think has the potential to show the biggest improvement in 2023?
Gerry Dulac
10:27
I think the secondary because of the addition of Porter, possibly Cory Trice and Keanu Neal. I need to see Chandon Sullivan before making an observation

Do you think Myles Garrett's accusations against Rudolph have affected his ability to get a job with another team? I remember an interview with Cam Jordan after the incident where he said "Mason what did you really say?". I am sure his underwhelming play was the key reason but does he have a stigma around the league because of it?
Gerry Dulac
10:28
I really don't believe it did and have no evidence whatsoever to even believe that was a consideration.
Adam
10:28
Are Thursday games THAT terrible?  I get that players want a routine schedule, but they must like the mini-bye after those games.
Gerry Dulac
10:28
Yes they are
Windber Rambler W/Cheese
10:28
Gerry, do you also consider Acrisure Stadium cheaply built - like some other local sportswriters?
Gerry Dulac
10:28
You mean some other local sportswriters are cheapy built..???
Windber Rambler W/Cheese
10:29
Some Golf media consider Arnold Palmer somewhat of a "choker" because he didn't complete the Slam and win more majors than he should of - Is that fair, you think?
Gerry Dulac
10:29
Nope. Considering only 5 players ever accomplished that feat...
Adam
10:29
Based on FA and the draft, can we be more successful at stopping the run than last year?
Gerry Dulac
10:29
That was the focus of the offseason.

Thank you for taking my question.  Have read several comments where D Washington is being compared Marcedes Lewis.  I remember a TE the Steelers drafted out of Liberty in 90's that I think is a better comparison, Eric Green. Is that a better comp?
Gerry Dulac
10:30
That's a good one. Eric Green was a good pass catcher. This guy is a better blocker
Adam
10:30
Is Trubisky the next Charlie Batch? I just dont see him being a starter for any team, but makes a great backup.
Gerry Dulac
10:30
He is an outstanding backup
Steel from Jacksonville
10:30
Considering every team works on improving itself over the off season, are we likely to be better, worst or about the same in 2023?
Gerry Dulac
10:30
Better

Is Art II still looking into possibly outlining some seats with advertising lettering in a section of the stadium inside?
Gerry Dulac
10:32
When it comes to marketing dollars, anything is possible.

The recent BC interview by Big Ben begs the question, had coach Cowher continued another 3-5 years would the Steelers have achieved more had he stayed?
Gerry Dulac
10:32
Well, they made two Super Bowls in the four years after he left, so that's not too bad, eh??
Good morning from Cabo
10:33
Hello, Gerry, and thanks for taking the time today. I believe that this year is going to be an absolute blast to watch, because while they may not get to the ultimate goal, I believe that they are setting themselves up beautifully for some GREAT years ahead.  I believe that they are masterfully crafting a championship team. I love the youth, and enthusiasm of this team and where it's going.  Thoughts?
Gerry Dulac
10:33
I believe they are making a lot of the right moves to head in that direction. They are not there yet, by any stretch, but I like what they are doing.

Odds that Lamar Jackson goes the whole season healthy?
Gerry Dulac
10:33
Not very good
