Hi Gerry. Thanks for the great chats. I know some folks are concerned about a WR#2 but how certain are we at OT? Does our depth (swing) alleviate any concerns or should we be looking hard at trades or anyone decent when teams have to cut their rosters? Thanks.

Would you have taken Sanders in the 4th round instead of Sawyer? Sanders is a steal in that round and definitely a real steal in the 5th round. Or was the baggage too much to deal with especially if Rodgers was intending to sign?

Big Ben retired a beloved figure in Steelers history, but not after a period when he was almost reviled. He was a real jerk for a while there. If AR comes in and goes 13-4, do you think he'll get the same level of forgiveness from the faithful?

I think we all agree that it would be nice to have another playmaker at wr. Is it possible that there is a lot more optimism within the organization on Roman Wilson than the Steelers let on? He basically is like a new draft pick to us with a year to learn under his belt. How do we know he won’t make a big impact this season? Of course we don’t but trying to be positive with the current roster.

Did the Steelers do enough to shore up their run defense that was porous at the end of last year with the draft and free agent additions or was it the offense doing nothing late in the year that exhausted the defense where they could not withstand the physical ponding like the Ravens gave them?

I agree with all of those great players the Ravens have. But my question is how are they able to still have a better defense than the Steelers while operating under the salary cap? Better scouting? Better coaching? etc.

Hi Gerry.  Zeise had a piece regarding Rodgers and how he makes the Steelers better than any other option available at this time. He estimates Rodgers gives them a maximum of 2-3 more wins than Rudolph, if he stays healthy.  Is the chemistry issue he appears to have caused to date and personality issues he has worth the 2-3 more wins and maybe a playoff win when the goal is to get a franchise QB next year?

Gerry, I once asked you if the Steelers would retire Bradshaw's number while he is still alive, and you said shame on them if they don't. I agree. His recent health makes me pray they do so this year. Any inside info on that?
