Gerry, it's hard to believe some folks are taking such offense with your note re: Ben and the Steelers. It's pretty clear the he is publicly putting on a happy face with what he says and does all the while he is upset with how it played out behind closed doors. Just because he is upset ~4 months after playing his last game does not mean the relationship is damaged beyond repair. People need to give it a minute and things will be all good in due time.

He doesn't make the picks, he just compiles the draft board. Howie Roseman the GM makes the draft day picks. For example, I have been told Andy Weidl really liked and wanted Justin Jefferson but Roseman picked Jalen Reagor instead in 2020. Vikings took Jefferson right after Reagor. So you can't say he missed on Parsons.

Going into the draft, we had the fourth best quarterback in the Division. Coming out of the draft, we have the fourth best quarterback in the Division. Did we waste our first round pick?

Funny part was, I didn't know what all the fuss was about and where it even started. Several radio interview requests later in the day, I had to ask why people wanted to talk to me about Ben and the Steelers. So...yeah
