Question: do you know how different the Steelers system was compared to Haskins or Rudolphs college system?  Sometimes people are just not a good fit system wise?

No, I don't, but I don't think Haskins' problem was the system he played in. His issues went beyond that. Don't forget, he played one season in college and the Washington owner wanted him drafted and wanted him to play. Both mistakes.

Last question for me: seems like the NFL is looking to continue to add games, I am guessing in place of x number of pre season games, how many roster spots would that open to support the longer season?

I don't think it will increase the 53-man roster, but for now I think you will see them stick with the expanded practice squad.

They will keep Snell and McFarland. I think Samuels gets bumped by Kalen Ballage. That kid has some quick feet. He could be a surprise FA pickup.
