Good Morning Mr. Dulac.  Another week of VOLUNTARY mini camp another week of mostly talk about who is not participating.   Folks it's the first week of June, let's worry about the weather, inflation and the homeless.   Let the national media get indigestion over the state of the Steelers, we should wait until at least training camp to bite our nails.

Mr Dulac.  I am happy to hear that Gabe Davis is coming for a visit, at least the team is looking.  Do you expect the team will sign someone before next Tuesday or is it more likely to wait until training camp to have another WR?
Gerry Dulac

No hurry

Hi Gerry! Thanks for the chats! If this were a video chat, what percentage of the time would we see your eyes rolling at the questions you receive? Including this one ... face_with_rolling_eyes

I'd wear sunglasses!

Gerry, thanks for the chats. Why in the name of Heath are we looking at trading for a 30 year old second tight end that is essentially an older Muth? Maybe I could see Pitts because of his athleticism and ability to move him around (not that he's shown he can consistently produce) - but explain this silliness to me.

Don't get in a bunch over that slim possibility.

Gerry, had the good fortune to play Oakmont while in HS in the 80's.  Have not been back since it was restored to more closely meet the original design.  Besides length and a lot fewer trees, how different is the current Oakmont vs. 1970 - 1990's Oakmont? I still have paraphernalia with the Oakmont Squirrel, tough to find a squirrel on today's course!!

No squirrels anymore. You know what, it's even tougher. The bunkers, the ditches, the length, and the greens of course

Is the "who know, maybe someone else" response to the WR2 question earlier insight to an acquisition is about to be announced or just that they're going to add a WR2 at some point this offseason.
Gerry Dulac

Maybe some point.

Hi Gerry, which statement do you believe is most accurate.  1) Rooney/Tomlin/Rodgers have been aligned on a contract and general timeline for signing and start date for quite sometime 2) Rooney/Tomlin/Rodgers have had alignment on general contract/terms for some time, but timing of signing/camp has been a bit of a moving target 3) Alignment on general terms for some time, but timing/start date remained an open dialogue for some time, and is now likely aligned.  Based on Art's early comments, it feels like #3 is likely the closest, as it would help explain his early optimism in Rodgers signing, as well as the cryptic comments on timing.

The holdup has NOTHING to do with contract. It's the same. He told them he would take his time and he is, and they told him they are willing to wait, and they are

Gerry, based on the inordinate number of soft tissue injuries last year, are you surprised the strength and conditioning staff was brought back intact?
Gerry Dulac
10:21
Now that's a very perceptive and good question.....

Good Morning Mrs Dulac.  Quick question, other than the most important AR, if the lesser AR does not sign with the Steelers, who gets the blame and what "if any" might the consequences be?   Do you in your opinion feel that this attempt to sign this person has impeded the Steelers chances of a building this team?

This is all about Mike Tomlin wanting Rodgers and waiting for him, but it still has to have the endorsement from on high
OK kids, gotta run. Lots happening today. I'm out next week because of US Open, though maybe we will have a golf chat
