Hi, Gerry. It’s going to be a very interesting and exciting season that’ll feel like a rollercoaster ride at Kennywood. Story lines galore, calls for Will Howard to start, Tomlin should be fired and the list goes on. Regardless what happens this season, I am going to embrace it. The Steelers aren’t going to win the Super Bowl but it’ll be frustrating and fun at the same time.

I’m always tricked into being overly optimistic this time of year. How do you stay grounded and objective at this time of year?  It seems we made improvements in key areas yet something tells me we are kidding ourselves to expect much more than 10 wins.

I stay grounded and objective because, after all these years, I've seen optimism implode and negatively flourish. I wait until I see it on the field, not in the offseason depth chart
