No, he won't be on IR. He's getting there but it's tough when a rookie doesn't get to play in any preseason games.

Gerry,  if the Steelers don't make the playoffs this year but still win 8 or 9 games, will they do a major trade to select in the top 5 in next year's draft for a QB?

Let's wait till January to answer that. But I don't think you will see any trade into the top 5 under any circumstance.

Morning Gerry. Assuming no trades or additions happen for WR room, have you seen evidence at practice of getting the tight ends more involved? I’m thinking they are going to have to really focus on getting 88 a lot of targets consistently to help out Pickens. Thoughts?

Hi Gerry - all this talk about adding a WR and CB, to me the DL is more of a potential issue that could plague this team if the  aging starters don’t hold up. So you see this as a sneaky need position that could be addressed by Khan before the start of the season?

We will find out. I think it will be hard to duplicate what Mason did the final three games -- average 27 points ppg and go 3-0.
