If we can get a first round pick for JPJ we should do it. Cornerbacks don’t win super bowls Quarterbacks do. Having 2 first rounder picks next year gives us the ammunition to go get a franchise QB. What say you Gerry?

I never quite understood - why did JPJ say he was injured and why did the Steelers put him on the PUP list?  I thought the thing to do nowadays was to “hold in” where you show up but don’t participate in team activities.  Why did JPJ go the injury/PUP list route while dealing with the contract?  Is there an advantage for the team or the player to go on PUP vs the typical hold in?  And was this why coaches were in angry with him in the spring - that because he was going the fake injury route, he wouldn’t participate at all?

No you are not. He is a very good corner, but not one who should be paid top 5 money.

Probably Wilson right now. When they didn't have him play the preseason finale, that should've told you something. But it's time for him to take it from the practice field to the game. In golf, we call that taking it from the range to the course.

How would you compare Patrick Graham's approach to defense? Using various schemes week-in and week-out like a Belichick or taking a more simple approach to play fast?

Well, that's what we're going to find out. Of all the coaches McCarthy hired, Graham is under the most pressure to prove Mike Tomlin's defense was either better then what people thought or worse than what they thought
