Gerry, Sad news about Sam Davis. He was one of my favorite players from the Glory Days of the 70s--great on the field, and a true good guy off of it. Contrasting his character with so many of today's players makes me shake my head. How can the league or teams encourage more players with high character? Thanks

I moved to Pittsburgh in August 1969. Purchased two season tickets to the Steelers and have been a Steeler fan ever since then. In my opinion the Steelers were not prepared for and sleepwalked thru the thing laughingly called a game Sunday evening. When will the coaches, from HC down, be held accountable for this fiasco?

Gerry, from NJ, Thanks for remembering.  Ger, would it have been that difficult to keep Jesse James? We are struggling to find a #2. We seem to have some money. We watched the guy get better every year then let him go with an obvious need. Thank you sir.

He was offered a lot of money in free agency, more than the Steelers could or be willing to pay. But they have to find a similar target to replace him and they haven't

Why do the Steelers use 5 wide empty set formations on downs where they need just a few yards. See 3rd and 4th and goal from the 1 last Sunday

Today's NFL. Spread the field and run it. Give the illusion of pass and run. Sommy question is, who not use a RB and give the illusion of run when you want to pass????
