Hi Gerry:  Thanks for the chats.  Curious about NFL rules.  In Baseball a player can hit a ball that is ruled and error changed to a hit or vice versa after the play by the official scorekeeper.  The outcome of the game is unaffected.  One assumes they look at replays.  Can NFL plays be overturned after the fact?  I am specifically asking about TJ Watt getting credit for a sac vs. Atlanta that was called offsides (and wasn’t); especially when the official making the decision says, “I messed up.”

Not in that instance he can't, not with a penalty. But stats have been changed based on film reviews later in the week.
